Day 105 of asking @AmazonMGMStudio to reconsider Martin Gero's Stargate #savestargate
Matt Nicol retweeted
I keep asking, at what point do Americans take the collective decision to say ‘This is NOT OK’
When you reach a position where the guy that is overseeing the money will not answer the most basic questions on where the proceeds from stolen Venezuelan assets are, what has America become?
Let me help you with that. The hostage of the most corrupt president in American history. A mob boss enable by criminal enablers. THIS is exactly what he expected to be able to do in Iran, and had that been successful, he would already have moved on to other countries.
Let me clarify, International law bans pillage during both international and non-international (civil) armed conflicts.
The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court explicitly lists pillaging a town or place (even when taken by assault) as a war crime. It is also strictly forbidden by the Geneva Conventions and Customary International Humanitarian Law (Rule 52)
Trump is a war criminal and that’s why he’s attempting to defang the ICC to protect him from accountability once this nightmare is over.

When you suddenly find out that The Stanley Tucci is secretly a Stargate fan… and not only did he ❤️ & commented your reply to a Prime Video post about one of his movies, but then you realise HE FOLLOWS YOU ON X?! 😳
Honestly, I’m not sure what’s more exciting — discovering that Stanley Tucci is a fellow Stargate fan, getting a ❤️ from him, or the fact that he actually follows me on X. 😂
This is one of those completely unexpected little moments that makes you stop and think, “Wait… is this actually happening?” 😂
Stanley Tucci. Stargate fan. Liked my reply. Follows me.
I think I need a minute to process this. 😆
The universe works in mysterious ways… and apparently, sometimes it includes Stanley Tucci being a secret Stargate fan. ✨

Now is time to keep up the pressure
Let's take all a step forward and flood @AmazonMGMStudio and @PrimeVideo feed with #SaveStargate tweets!
WE WANT MARTIN GERO BACK
It has been an amazing few months at conventions! Fans around the world have come together with one mission: #SaveStargate. Here are some of the signed banners from various cons over the last few months:
ShoreLeave46 -- David Hewlett (@dhewlett) and Rachell Luttrell (@rachel_luttrell) were the first cast members to sign #SaveStargate banners!
Ascension2 -- MamaNox (@Yellow_Gate_Rd), Kirsty ᐰ #SaveStargate (@Kirstylgreen12), and their team knocked it out of the park with hundreds of signatures, including Corin Nemic (@imcorinnemec), Teryl Rothery (@terylrothery), and Alex Zahara.
#botanikagoesspace in Germany -- Great job, @stargate_germany! Hundreds of signatures on your banner, and your event looked amazing!
Dragon Con 2026 -- Five hectic days in Georgia and hundreds of signatures on their banner, including Claudia Black (@TheClaudiaBlack), Ben Browder, Michael Shanks (@MichaelShanks), and Richard Dean Anderson.
If you have a banner from an event, send us pics! We'd love to share them!

122K+ people have spoken. But how many haven’t even heard the question?
@AmazonMGMStudio millions of Stargate fans exist worldwide, yet not every fan is on social media. Many have never seen #SaveStargate.
122K signatures aren’t the size of the fanbase. They’re the tip of the iceberg.
Don’t measure Stargate’s audience by who happens to be online.
The fans are out there.
Find them.
Listen to them.
For they will tell you the same as we have already.
No Reboot
OG Creators involved
Respect the legacy
Inspire the future
Keep the Gate open

Yes, Prime Video, and
@AmazonMGMStudio it’s September!
We’re still here. Still asking. Still making noise.
You can hide replies containing certain names and hashtags, but you cannot hide the fact that fans are still demanding Stargate back.
As Mama Nox said: “The young do not always do as they are told.”
So show us you’re listening. Show us you’re not afraid to admit when you’ve got something special. Give Martin Gero’s vision the chance it deserves.
Bring back Stargate.

Dear @AmazonMGMStudio,
What does Stargate really mean?
To many people, it’s easy to see spaceships, alien worlds and epic battles.
To those of us who’ve lived with this franchise for years, it’s something much bigger.
It’s about humanity.
It’s about ordinary people stepping through a gate into the unknown—not because they’re fearless, but because someone has to.
It’s about courage over fear.
Curiosity over ignorance.
Freedom over tyranny.
Hope over despair.
Every great enemy the franchise has given us challenged those ideals, and every time humanity prevailed, it wasn’t because we were the strongest race—it was because we refused to stop believing in one another.
The Stargate itself is more than technology.
It’s a symbol.
A doorway to endless possibilities. A bridge between worlds, cultures and people. A reminder that there’s always another horizon waiting to be explored.
That’s why this franchise still matters.
It reminds us that humanity’s greatest strength has never been our technology…
It’s our willingness to take that first step into the unknown.
For many of us, Stargate wasn’t just a television series.
It became part of who we are.
Please don’t let that legacy remain dormant.
The Gate is still open. We’re still here.

Nope.
Not done fighting.
No "reboot."
It's gotta be done properly by Gero/Mallozzi/crew.
We will accept nothing less.
Pay attention @AmazonMGMStudio

(And "hopes being dashed?"... ... that's quitter talk.)
Our hopes of continuing the Stargate franchise have been dashed, but if a reboot ever happens, we have some actors picked out and ready to go.

Atlantis survived for 10000 years, two wraith wars, a storm surge, a replicator war, disabled ZPM safeguards, relentless attacks from Michael and the Genii, saved earth from certain doom and got submerged twice…
Who would have thought some clueless idiots in a board room would be its end…

Stargate means a lot to a lot of people. @AmazonMGMStudio I really do call on you to actually communicate with the fans on this one.
This isn’t a small franchise. In its 350 hours of television that accrued millions of fans worldwide. They deserve a little bit more respect than a PR drop in a Variety article.
We and many others want @martingero Stargate and vision. We wanted the team that comes with that elite baller knowledge.
@BaronDestructo and Co have been incredible bastions in community along with @dial_the_gate and @GateWorld
You had these guys on a video dropped on your channel with the promise of a show.
What went wrong? Reinstating the Gate will happen. How and what it looks like? That’s down to you the IP holder after all.
But without the fans and without clear communication on what’s transpired it’s a tough ask to get us to be excited again. Maybe you don’t care. Who knows.
All I know is you had ungodly good faith from some the most critical people online. Not just fans.
Come on @PrimeVideo and @JeffBezos reinstate the gate. Make this happen.
One last time. #SaveStargate #Stargate

A little bit of encouraging news for a Tuesday evening 😀 #SaveStargate ᐰ
Some campaign news for your Tuesday. We have heard from our source that the campaign is having an effect! Amazon execs are very much aware of us and are watching to see what happens next.
Do we slow down and stop, or do we continue to make noise?
In the words of Teal'c: Things need to calm up!
The international meet-ups are this weekend! Grab your friends and show your support for #SaveStargate. Take pictures and send them to us. We will make a shareable video from all of your photos and videos to show Amazon execs that Stargate fans are global.
Keep hitting Amazon MGM Studios posts with the #SaveStargate hashtag and polite comments asking for a canon-compliant series, not a reboot.
Sign the petition, and if you are able, donate to the GoFundMe. You will find both at savestargate.com/
