This sums up "woke" quite nicely and the problem I have with the idea.

Dear British People,
Please accept the fate of your island quietly.
We have chosen to let in hundreds of thousands of undocumented males from misogynist cultures but you are not allowed to protest.
Any peaceful protest will be viewed as “thuggish and intimidating” because you’re all ghastly white working-class people, aren’t you? Bigots!
What, a twelve-year-old boy raped?
What, an 80-year-old man raped in a churchyard by an illegal migrant?
Rhiannon Whyte stabbed 23 times in the head by an illegal migrant who had arrived 11 weeks earlier?
Perfectly normal. Keep things in proportion. As Are Andy says those men have “other norms”.
We appreciate you have voted at every general election against immigration and you want illegal migrants deported. And we have ignored you for many years.
So now you think voting doesn’t work.
Fair enough, we understand
your concerns. But that is no excuse to take things into your own hands!
Rest assured your government is doing everything it can to do nothing to stop the boats.
We will launch a crackdown against anybody who tries to actually stop the boats.
Meanwhile, everyone must take their fair share of the unfairness nobody voted for.
Remember - Hope in every heart. A rapist in every postcode!
'It was thuggish and intimidating behaviour'
Government minister Emma Reynolds reacted on #BBCBreakfast to a protest in Portsmouth on Sunday night after around 140 migrants arrived in a single dinghy that had crossed the English Channel.

It doesn’t stop infection.
Or transmission.
Don’t think of it as a vaccine.
Think of it - at best - as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS.
And we want to mandate it?
Insanity.

Amnesty International has truly lost the plot. It is promoting a so-called “Arday's law” which would to impose state-mandated limits on press coverage of one person. No doubt thru an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’ Truly totalitarian.
Defund @AmnestyUK.

It has come to my notice (I'm a continent away) that Nicola Sturgeon has again claimed I'm obsessed with her. This is, of course, true. I hereby repost my adoring review of her magnum opus, in which I attempted to convey the full magnificence of La Sturge.

Watch
You won't see this on the BBC
It doesn't fit their narrative
🇬🇧 Hundreds of ordinary people just marched 50 minutes from Thetford to RAF Barnham.
They’re demanding the Home Office scrap plans to house 1,250 migrant men at a former military site right next to a village of only 600 residents.
No real consultation. Limited local services. A rural community that will be completely transformed overnight.
This isn’t “far-right”. This is locals protecting their town, their kids, and their way of life from a decision made in Whitehall with zero regard for the people who actually live there.
The government keeps pushing these sites into small towns while telling us everything is under control.
Communities are done being ignored.

Shortly after our Fabian documentary went viral we’ve lost our TikTok and both our Instagram accounts. Close to 100k followers and millions of views per month wiped out on the same day with no chance to appeal.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to @elonmusk for providing the last true hope for freedom of speech in the UK. People have no idea how important this platform is until they try to push back against the narrative in this country. We will not be silenced. 🇬🇧

Just heartbreaking to hear the news about Rod Liddle.
I don’t have the words to express how sad this is. For journalism, for his readers and most of all his friends and family. Had missed his column and hearing his voice on the radio. Thought he was on a break.
Rest in peace, Rod. You will be very much missed.

"Amnesty has moved so far away from their original mission... They are now acting like the types of authoritarian regimes that they have always sought to expose.” -- @iseult, granddaughter of Amnesty founder.

Dr. Fauci's own diary, in his own words, shows he knew the lab leak theory was credible from the very first weeks of the pandemic. 10 of 12 scientists on his call believed deliberate insertion was possible. He wrote that the wet market was never the real source. Then he spent the next 2 years telling the American people the opposite and smearing anyone who disagreed as a “conspiracy theorist.” That is the definition of a cover-up.
On Wednesday, under subpoena, Fauci finally has to answer for it.

well, isn't that peculiar. the guy who developed and funded the work that created the c-19 virus in a lab in china was set up for scrutiny by the FBI upon his return, in 2021, from the lab. in china. where the virus was created.
they were told to stand down by some sort of higher up at customs and border patrol ay DHS.
apparently, getting a look at what he knew and what he was carrying was a no-no?
huh. why, it's almost as if they knew the "lab leak" story was false all along...
here's what i want to know: "subject will be sent to the for any requests."
who or what was redacted? that's the map to the culprit.
BREAKING: Sen. Rand Paul says newly released internal federal documents show the FBI asked Customs and Border Protection not to stop, search, or question EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak when he returned from China through JFK Airport in 2021 during the WHO’s COVID-19 origins investigation.
According to the documents, CBP had identified Daszak as an “extremely high person of interest” and planned to search his electronic devices and question him about his ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but stood down after a request from the FBI.

the truly amazing thing about the success of the "leopards eating people's faces party" is how many people can be so easily tricked into believing "it won't be their face."
