President Obama was not only a political figure that could be respected. He's a man to be respected or a human being that is greatly respected.
Yesterday would have been my dad’s 88th birthday. Miss him everyday.

I’m so grateful to have had the honor to serve in the Senate while Joyce Woodhouse was a part of our staff. I was blessed to benefit from her experience, expertise and wise counsel on numerous occasions. And I’m a better Senator because of it. Rest in peace dear Joyce. 😢🙏🏾❤️

Yeager said the decision is not a debatable motion, but Assm. @SelenaTorresNV makes a motion to appeal the decision of the chair to allow Kasama and Hibbetts to vote remotely. She notes that both are on vacation and worries about the precedent that sets.

Nearly 800,000 Nevadans rely on Medicaid - major cuts would be disaster for ordinary Nevadans, our hospitals and health care providers, and our state budget. #nvleg
Medicaid keeps healthcare going. Yet Congress wants to rush reckless spending cuts that would endanger care for millions of working families.
TAKE ACTION NOW using our direct call line to tell your Representative no cuts to Medicaid! act.afscme.org/forms/medicai…

Thanks to everyone who has sent love and support. We came up short for the first time, and there are lessons to be learned. It’s not time to back down, it’s time to lean in to the next opportunity to be of service to the community that I love. Forward, ever forward. ❤️
Had a stylish night out with Dr. Jerry Cade and @thecenterlv celebrating the Honorarium of incredible individuals serving the Las Vegas LGBTQ+ community. The Center and these people are making a positive difference every day,
and I am proud to support their efforts.
Good to see my wonderful assembly colleagues! ♥️
Great canvassing weather this afternoon, and always great when I can support my friends @SheaBackusEsq @Nicole4Nevada & @sbilbray!

After a morning of knocking on doors to get out the vote to not let us go back to the past, it's time to head Back To The Future at the Smith Center with my incredible daughter!
Ever since I was old enough to vote, it’s been a family tradition to go with my parents to do so. Today we continue the tradition, and I know my dad is still right alongside us. Grab some family and start your own tradition this election season. #vote #ShannonForNevada
I am the only candidate in the race for Clark County County Commissioner who has taught their pit bull to say, “I love you.” We’re so close to having her phone bank and call voters! 😉 #vote #ShannonforNevada
