Skyler Cassity defense was an absolutely embarrassing tonight. Needs to turn in his comp car this week.

Just an absolute embarrassment from the Oklahoma St defense.

Against a good offense, OSU would be down 28-3 and cooked.

The officiating is almost as incompetent as Oklahoma St is lay in the first half.

Texas had all offseason to think about how their loss to Florida kept them out of the CFP last year. And they just lost to them again. Wow.

Has anyone seen the "Saved By The Bell" episode where Mr. Belding gets a Bonsai tree? He can't stop trimming it b/c he thinks he's just 1 more cut away from it being perfect. By the end, the tree is completely bare and ruined. That's what it feels like happened to college football over the last 15 years...

This is visceral reaction from a QB after watching not just poor play, but like he said, noncompetitive play. Throwing a bad pick is one thing. The things Fitzpatrick describe fall into another category. It's rare to see a former player this worked up, especially about a winning QB. But this is on point IMO.
He's not necessarily entirely wrong. But also...shut up Ryan.

Jimmy Pitaro's No. 1 charter when he came to ESPN was to reset his network's relationship with the NFL. (That obviously happened given the NFL now owns a 10% equity stake in ESPN!) Buck and Aikman (the best NFL booth in my opinion) played a big role in how the league office perceived ESPN/ABC NFL broadcasts. Aikman's comments -- and the ones he said on my podcast -- seem to indicate how this is clearly playing out. ESPN will obviously have no issues landing a top analyst/s. But this would be — IMO — an absolute failure of management if the NFL's best broadcasting booth gets blown up.
Troy Aikman this morning on @dfwticket about rumors of tension between him and Joe Buck. “There’s probably a time and a place for all that. I don’t know if now is the time. I don’t know if it’s hard to figure out kind of what happened. I’ll broadcast through this season and I’ll be a free agent at the end of the year and kind of see what happens. I’m looking forward to whatever the rest of this season does hold and the Super Bowl and all that and where my next landing spot may be.”

My theory about ESPN planning a 24-hour Super Bowl pregame continues to seem more plausible. So far between ACC, SEC and Big 12, I don't see any college hoops listed for ESPN later than 4 PM on Feb. 13. Just ESPN2 or ABC.

The Bills would be a 4 win team without Josh Allen.

If the Rams win it here, it will be because of Kamren Kinches with the unbelievable diving foot tackle.

Not even John Blake 2.0 can believe they won today.

OU needed 25 yds in Texas penalties to score on a drive that started at the Texas 45. Quite a dynamic offense.

Here’s my thoughts on what’s going on in Denver - It’s a really weird way of SP saying the starting QB needs to play better - He isn’t / wasn’t going to bench Bo so naturally he takes back play calling duties to protect the QB - Sounds like he may have been a little too involved the first 4 weeks and it handicapped Davis… just a tough spot for Davis to be put in… have some faith in your young OC - Denver is notorious for starting slow , they have played 4 powerhouses lol - Do not be shocked if this offense looks the exact same Sunday
