My loves, I had the most amazing moment this evening and I'd like to share with you. I live in the most incredible building in the middle of New York and every year they make a holiday celebration with food. Today I didn't have a meal because I was too excited with AI stuff that by the evening I started feeling hungry and remembered that today was the day of holiday snacks in our building. I went downstairs wearing my headphones and picked some food and stood in the furthest corner listening to my own tunes and eating when a senior lady came by and I saw she was talking to me. I took off my headphones. She asked me about my rainbow tattoos and what does rainbow mean. I said to her: "You know when there's a storm and then there's a rainbow after the storm?" It's hope, it's a reminder that something good will happen. She said: "Did something good happen to you?" I said: "Yes, this year I found a job of my dream". She asked: "What job is that?" I said: "Adobe, do you know Photoshop" This is what I usually say to people I assume who may not know Adobe if I wouldn't add Photoshop to it. All of a sudden the tiny lady started jumping on her place: "I need you! I need you to teach me Adobe. So good I met you" That I can do, I said. "When?" she needed a date. I said Thursday after work. Tomorrow I teach all day but Thursday I have time. "What will you do with Adobe tools? What do you need?" I asked. "I'm an artist. I paint. I need to put all of my paintings into Photoshop and edit some of them." There's a competition and I need to apply before end of December. I need to win it, so I can show my work at home. They don't know about me. She showed me her paintings. Wow. I was mind blown. Each took her months to paint. All oil. All more than 19 feet tall. She said that some of them she needs to add detail or change and she realized she can do it in Photoshop and she was learning but needed some help with editing. Then, she asked what I do. I said Artificial Intelligence. She started jumping with joy (the reaction I was waiting for from someone my entire life 😅. "Teach me that too! I've heard about AI. I want to learn". Before I said good bye Kim told me she was 81 years old and her dream was to bring her art to South Korea where she is from.
