Scottish Green co-leader Gillian Mackay looks like a rabbit caught in someone's headlights - at the SNP conference
Mackay could not bring herself to say Israel has a right to exist - was she influenced by the £150,000 loan from Zack Polanski to the Scottish Greens branch office?

Fine. But her husband has to lose his post.
BREAKING: Police say Sarah Helm, wife of Labour’s National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, will face no action over a social media post, declaring her support for the Palestine Action terror group, as it ‘did not meet criminal threshold’ (via @DailyMail) dailymail.com/news/article-1…

In 1815 Europeans realised they had to resolve their issues diplomatically and established the Concert of Europe.
That lesson required 23 years of ruinous war.
What will it take for us to learn that unrestricted immigration and leftist ideas are not the way forward?

A truly impressive avoidance of the word Islamism in this monologue by @afneil, he’d be great on ‘Just A Minute’.
Must watch: Andrew Neil explains the French protests in just under four minutes.

“We’re just workers. Working to put food on the table for our families”
The hard left wankers here in the UK: “It’s a cost of living crisis! Stop being racist! It’s about wealth inequality!”
This middle aged man in Paris speaks against your lies. You should be ashamed.
He wasn’t out looting. He was at work. Now he will help clean up.
Did the “far right” do this? Burn the cars of working class people?
No. Face facts and face yourselves. You’re telling yourself lies that the rest of us reject.

This is a hard lesson. I suspect it will not be learned.
Too many assumed civilised behaviour is the default and state violence is the real problem.
And now the reality.
Barbarity and lawlessness and a state too afraid to employ the necessary violence to stop it.

In 1992, an AA employee called Jason Pegler was walking home from work in Dover, England, when he walked past a public telephone box. As he did so, the phone started ringing.
His curiosity piqued, he decided to answer it. To his absolute astonishment, the call was for…him
On the other end of the line was his colleague, Sue Hamilton. She apologised for disturbing him and asked for help with the office fax machine, which she couldn’t get to work. Jason was dumbfounded.
‘Hold on Sue, how could you possibly know I was beside this particular phone box?’, asked Jason.
Confused, Sue didn’t understand the question.
‘What do you mean,’ she replied. ‘Isn’t this your home number?’
Jason explained that he was still on his way home, and that he’d simply heard a public phone ringing as he walked past and decided to pick it up. (And this is where it gets genuinely bonkers.)
When Sue checked the number she’d dialled, she finally worked out what had happened. She had mistaken his AA *staff* number for his home telephone number!
By what must be the maddest coincidence of their respective lives, that staff number was also the number of the public phone box in Dover that Jason was passing just at the moment she called.
Sue had dialled the wrong number, but reached the right person.
Please please can mothers stop calling their relationship with their sons, moreso than daughters, their "best friend". Hour child is never that. You are the parent, act like one.

Peggie, the nurse who was suspended after objecting to sharing a female changing room with a transgender doctor, has called for NHS Scotland to follow suit.
She said: “I welcome this common sense guidance from NHS England which makes clear that patients’ biological sex will determine which hospital wards they will be accommodated in.
The safety, privacy and dignity of female patients shouldn’t depend on where they are hospitalised in Great Britain.”
She added: “The rights of female hospital patients in Scotland must no longer be sacrificed because of gender ideology and NHS Scotland must now urgently commit to implementing similar guidance.”
We agree @NHSScotland can no longer ignore the right of women in hospital to privacy, dignity and safety
