‼️ URGENTE ‼️

When analyzing the components you use in your stack, focusing on intellectual property, code quality, and vulnerabilities is commonly the first step. Is this enough to adopt a new component without risks?
What if a project has a decent code and a compatible license, but at the same time, the backlog is going up like a rocket, there are no releases, and it is maintained by a single fellow?
Let me present two key metrics we use to evaluate if a project is properly maintained. With them, you will be able to maintain a better conversation with your CTO in the next coffee meeting :P
