Just 29,000 jobs added in September. Unemployment ⬆️ to 4.2%. Wages trailing inflation for six straight months. Less opportunity. Less buying power. Families pay the price.

Had the time of my life at @OrangeDemsFL 's Blue Bash tonight! It was great to reconnect with friends and see Democrats so energized this year. Everyone across the state is sick and tired of a government that doesn't work for them and leaves them behind. As Florida's next CFO, I'll never stop fighting for working families and against corrupt Tallahassee insiders.

Someone’s scared
NEW: Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) just rolled out a straight to camera ad breaking with Trump. "Mr. President, some of your immigration enforcement efforts have gone too far....The same Hispanics who helped you get to the White House in 2024 feel betrayed today"

A DEM primary in majority-Hispanic HD43, which is located in the Orlando metro, saw a stark contrast in candidates. Former Orange DEM Chair @samuelforfl easily defeated former State Rep Daisy Morales, who initially lost her 2022 primary for being cozy with the GOP #flapol

Let me show you just how divided the White House is on this issue: The comms team sends out a fact sheet making no reference to Delcy Rodríguez, instead referring to them as the “interim authorities”—clearly attempting to clean up the president’s “highly respected” comments. Meanwhile, the president once again makes it clear that he likes Delcy and suggests Venezuela is no longer a dictatorship. Additionally, Marco Rubio is going on Spanish-language outlets emphasizing the need for elections and the desire to restore democracy in Venezuela. Is this just a lack of messaging strategy? NO. There are clearly people inside the administration who understand who Maduro and Rodríguez are and what their regime represents. The president simply doesn’t seem to care. Once again, there is no clear alignment within the Trump administration—and the messaging tells you exactly that.
Trump opposes free and fair elections in Venezuela: “I just don’t think they’re ready yet. You know, it’s very new. We took them out of a dictatorship, and we’re getting along great with the government.”

The Venezuelan people should govern their resources and decide their country’s future. Until then, deportations must end and TPS must be restored immediately so that Venezuelans can live in dignity and in peace.

Now we see why Trump Invaded Venezuela Removed the dictator Maduro but . . . Kept his VP in power While blocking opposition leader and Nobel laureate Maria Corina Machado from returning home And delaying all talk of elections So the US could control Venezuelan oil in violation of its constitution! Will prices come down for Americans? Who knows but likely not as much as Trump has forced them up thru his idiotic Iran War. But here’s a guarantee—this will pad the pockets of Trump family and Big Oil companies and delay transition to cleaner energy. Bottom line—Using our troops for a private oil grab is corruption at epic scale! wsj.com/business/energy-oil/…

Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ashley Moody and company are actively propping up the Venezuelan regime, calling our murderous, self-appointed dictator “Highly Respected. Trump and MAGA Republicans are taking Delcy’s side. FREE VENEZUELA! 🇻🇪

Secretary Marco Rubio: You have just lost any trust Venezuelans ever had on you, and it will come to haunt you. You opted to use US power, not to free Venezuelans, but to go to bed with our oppressors. You opted to push an asset grab, an unconstitutional deal with an illegitimate oppressive government, instead of using US leadership to re-establish constitutional rule and democracy first, and then deal with a legitimate government that could have made credible long-term commitments, in due course. This announced deal will not stand. Delcy, contrary to what you boss just stated [see below] is not "highly respected" by any Venezuelan I know, or by any American outside of the Mar-a-lago kleptocracy. She has no legitimacy or constitutional power to commit Venezuela to any such deal. Venezuelans will not respect this illegitimate deal and no major US oil company will take it seriously because they know it will not last. No wonder you are using wanted criminals - like Alejandro Betancourt - to make this shameful deal. You are also preventing our leader - Maria Corina Machado - from returning to Venezuela, and you have conspired to delay elections and the return to democracy. Shameful.
This deal is a huge win for both the American and Venezuelan people. It demonstrates how President Trump's bold foreign policy is driving America First wins: securing stable reserves and low-cost oil in our Hemisphere and lowering gas prices here at home. For the Venezuelan people, this deal will bring nearly $100 billion in private investment, support thousands of high-paying jobs, and drive the reconstruction of Venezuela's economy.

Rents are too damn high and healthcare costs a fortune thanks to Ashley Moody, but some people care more about labels than my plans to help Floridians lower the cost of living. The only box that matters come November 3rd is the ballot box. Stay focused y'all.

Florida, this is our moment. We enter the general election with a dynamic ticket, a renewed sense of possibility, and an opportunity to build the broad coalition it will take to win. See full statement from our party on how Democrats must stand united around a belief in what Florida can be: a state where every Floridian has the opportunity to be healthy, prosperous, and safe.
