Worlds run ended at 5-3, lost the win-and-in for day 2. Had some tough breaks, but still proud of how I played, especially facing a very strong schedule. Got 7th/271 at 7-1 in the VGC open, though, and won full set prismatic! Will follow up with a long list of shoutouts tomorrow.
Swampert rain catching a stray? Nevertheless, this is a good opportunity to use under-appreciated pokemon that you might not even know are in Champions!

Went 11-3 (48th/4254) in the Grand Champions Festival Encore with rain. Didn’t expect to make it to the win-and-in for cut after a 3-2 start. Thanks to @JacobSkraw for hosting another excellent tournament - I enjoyed clicking electro shot for 14 rounds.
Qualified for Worlds in my first season competing in the Masters Division. There’s a lot I could’ve done better, but I’m glad to have crossed the finish line. Very thankful for my friends who supported me all the way through, as well as Wisconsin VGC. 🙂
