Hey folks, as they say, some news:
Today is my last day in publishing.
It's been an incredible ride. I've worked on some amazing books with some even more amazing clients. But like the many others who stepped away this year, publishing finally ground me down.

My brother started a stack that's under a sub called 6 Foot Party Sub and it's great and you should all subscribe. It's delightfully weird and nothing at all like this screenshot.

ALT A screenshot that says "I wish the world could see the beauty held in my eyes. I wish the love and affection I know is possible between Man and Other could be learned, embraced, and shared. I wish the lovely pangs of sorrow I feel when hearing birdsong could be bottled to fill every fountain. One night I dreamed that the love and vision in my heart issued forth from the Trevi Fountain in Rome. The joy and beauty in my heart passed over the hard marble bodies and they slowly softened, until they were flesh and bone and could leave their waters and join the world, sharing their message of redemption. I wish I could keep the tears I found on my pillow the morning after that dream. I wish I could be a purple belt like Jerry."

100% sincere: but these types of stories go unreported when you lose local journalism.
Dang, I loved this game growing up.
How’s work going? We made AI art and I wanted to see Mario sacking the Vatican in the style of Monet.

Fun day in the office by blowing the interns' minds by regaling them of tales from the year they were born...
1999.
"Were yall really worried about Y2K?"
How have I not tweeted about the greatest piece of art of all time?
This truly captured both my intense stare and middle row of abs perfectly.

Well, my clients certainly know how to send me off in style.
There was also a medley that included The Lion King and aren’t. And also tapping.
It also should be noted I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THE OFFICE TODAY. And we work in a SHARED OFFICE SPACE.
These random folks got a show!
I also want to thank Chris Lotts and everyone at the Lotts Agency. He's built an incredible agency and I learned so much from him during my tenure here. He's a great leader. I'm so excited to see what he and the rest of the team accomplish next!
I'd also like to thank the one person who got me started in all of this nearly a decade ago:
@BradyMcAgent
He texted me when he knew I was struggling to find a job. "Wanna come temp at my literary agency?"
"Sure," I said. "What's a literary agency?"
The rest is history.
