The Bros to Pros marathon @NiceWigg is bringing back my nostalgia for the old LAN era where you brought your heavy-ass computers to your friend's house and gamed together the entire weekend.
I might have gone overboard on how many I ordered, but I'm so excited to hand these out at @PlayApexEsports Vegas LAN 😂

Here’s to the people of Gander, who on one of the toughest days of our lives, showed the world what friendship and neighbours do when asked. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

If you've bought a copy of Against the Meta - thank you. All proceeds (through Feb 27) will be going directly to funding another women's Apex tournament! One request: please review it on Amazon - reviews really books a book to new readers and help a lot!
Tomorrow Ignite @WomensCircuits hosts a tournament to honor the book. Legend comps will be based on past tournaments. Most exciting: players are those who helped BUILD the scene (even tho I couldn't tell ALL their stories) - excited to see everyone!

LAN Reminder for the Ladies 👑
Esports should be a place where women can compete, create, connect, and feel safe.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, trust your gut. You don’t owe anyone your attention, your politeness, or an explanation.
Know who to go to — your teammates, friends, event staff, security, or someone you trust. Know where the safe people are before you need them.
And ladies, if you see another woman who looks uncomfortable?
CHECK ON HER.
You don’t need to know her.
You don’t need the whole story.
You just need to care enough to ask:
“Are you okay?”
Because in this community, we don’t ignore red flags.
We don’t leave each other behind.
And we’re not going to apologize for protecting each other.👑

The very first Apex stream I watched was @NiceWigg Octane stimming around KC. From then to now, his RESPECT for ALL PEOPLE has stayed true, so I knew I wanted him to write the foreword for my book. He shares his perspective on women in Apex Legends:

I have loved how much of the community came together to create this book. The epilogue is guest-written by @hannahmariezt and is tongue-in-cheek titled "Out of Oblivion" where she shares her story celebrating Coach @RubyKaster amazon.com/dp/B0HCDR7TW2
Against the Meta, my new book about Apex Legends women's comp, was a labor of love involving the community. The cover was drawn by @AppyJuiice it was edited by @hannahmariezt the foreword is by @NiceWigg it includes years of records from TOs and casters. amazon.com/dp/B0HCDR7TW2
