I’ve been using Link ECU since I first started getting into cars. I was a customer long before they ever became a partner and sponsor of ours, and today marks a pretty special milestone!
After more than 16 years of being Team LINK, I’m excited to announce that @sammit_hq is officially Japan’s newest Link ECU dealer & distributor! 🇯🇵
As many of you on the US military bases here in Japan already know, I’ve been helping out with English-speaking support for quite some time. Now we’re making it official!
You can now purchase all your Link ECU products directly through us, with local support in English to help you get everything sorted.
We’ve already got stock on the shelves at SAMMIT HQ, and I’m always happy to help anyone who needs it!
It’s pretty awesome to go from being a customer and fan of a brand to having them as a partner and sponsor, and now officially representing them here in Japan.
Huge thank you to the team at Link for all the support over the years and for trusting us with this next chapter! 🙏
I got to spend some time exploring GMO’s robotics lab in Tokyo! 🇯🇵🤖
Meeting our new robot overlords was a little nerve-racking 😂 but it was honestly incredible getting a closer look at the technology and seeing how these humanoid robots could potentially help tackle the labour shortage Japan is currently facing.
Final round of FDJ done & dusted. Not the end to the season we wanted, and it definitely left us confused & frustrated, but that’s all part of competitive drifting. All we can do is take the wins from it, learn from the rest & focus on what’s next.
A tremendous thank you to everyone who supported us this year & of course, all of our sponsors. We saw incredible growth & improvement across the entire season.
At the start of the year, we didn’t even know if we’d be able to compete due to everything happening in Iran affecting some of our sponsorships. Somehow, we were able to build new relationships, pull everything together & make it through the entire season.
The team this year was the best it’s ever been. Being able to focus purely on what I need to do as a driver has been a massive change for me, and I think the improvement shows. The guys sacrificed so much to make every round happen, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you lads ❤️
What’s next? I honestly don’t know yet.
We’ll have to see what next year holds. ✨
Odd, I did the lower series, earned the points & the license. That's literally what you're supposed to do to have the business of being there...
Replying to @sammit01
Just being honest and not trying to dog on you but you have zero business being in the top level of FDJ. In all realistic your probably a FDJ3 driver. You wouldnt even qualify in Pro-Spec in the US. Why not go to the class you should be in and develop your skills?
I'm a firm believer in being a good sport. Judging is an incredibly difficult job, and it's something I'd never want to do myself; you've heard me say that many times. But I think it's time to admit that FDJ has a judging consistency problem, and it's not fair to the drivers or the viewers who, at the end of the day, are the customers.
