How do tier one esports teams analyse competitive, scrim, and SoloQ data to make informed decisions about the game? Now I've left FlyQuest, I've put together a long form article showing screenshots of the application we built, and some of my thoughts alongside it. Link below.

this was mostly just to flex my frontend muscles (and get used to next.js, since I've only used base react so far). this is actually my first time making a user facing application based on the riot API likely to be some teething issues still, but happy with how it turned out

Remember guys if someone ever asks you whether you can assign a single numbered score to a team/player based on in-game stats.. Your answer should be no.

Anyone else feel a familiar feeling flow across their body as the self-proclaimed "inner sanctum of professional esports" falls apart in the UK amongst a player pay dispute?

I had a lot of interaction (for me) from my last post, and therefore a lot of new followers 👋 I haven't posted here often, but plan to write more about LoL analytics during the off-season (if anything just to fill time) You can find an article I wrote last year below :)

I don't think anything shown off here is "ground breaking" conceptually - but I am immensely proud of the technical achievement to get this application into such a stable and useable state. Thanks again to all who made it possible. Feel free to DM me questions, or ask here.

On the last day of my contract (30th) I was told my services were not longer required by FlyQuest. I'll be posting tonight what I've been up to for the last 2 years in a long form article which may be interesting to any current or hopeful analyst/coach.

I'm still processing my disappointment/confusing regarding the terms and process of my termination - but I'd prefer to first take this opportunity to celebrate what we achieved in the time we were given.
