For OpenAI to give them $6500 after they proved they had symmetric access to their internal systems means that only blackhats will purse the value of the gaining unauthorized access which is in the many millions. Bare minimum is an OpenAI cybersecurity guy pay for the same time

We reported the bug to Discourse and OpenAI. OpenAI fixed the SSO issue roughly 14 hours after our initial submission. Discourse received our separate report Saturday, replied Sunday, and had a fix Monday. OpenAI awarded us $6,500.

Wow this is actually impressive to achieve results like this from synthetic data

you might be the first person talking about the data over the architecture! 🥲 we consider ourselves a data research lab! the vast vast vast majority of research was on making data that is truly general (ala a cognitive core) and 100% of our data is synthetic (but not the type of crap that is just spit out from an LLM obviously)

You should never give all your most private personal data to a closed sourced system Obviously

needless to say but if you have any API keys, eth wallet keys, user credentials, etc hanging out on the open internet in pastebins, GitHubs, etc now is the time to take it down before the tireless eagle eyes of a million models come looking

Local minima are extremely rare in high dimensional spaces, so if you ever feel stuck in a rut it’s probably just because you aren’t considering a wide enough set of orthogonal options

bank runs are functionally the same as quantum waveform collapse fractional reserve banking creates superpositions: the same $100 gets lent out 10x, creating $1000 of floating value. the money exists in all its possible states at once, like an electron before you look at it in a bank run, the first people to withdraw collapse the superposition/"waveform" — the money resolves to them. everyone else is in free fall, because all the value holding up the superposition has already been observed and allocated the modern economy exists on the surface tension of that unmeasured state. i think there are many things like this
