My avocados have lasted longer than Katie Zacharia's tenure as White House Press Secretary.

This shot of Aslan singing Narnia into existence is pure magic. Okay, maybe I do like Greta Gerwig's vision after all.
63
Whatever my reservations about Greta Gerwig’s Narnia adaptation, this shot beautifully captures the magic of The Magician’s Nephew. The juxtaposition of the gritty Edwardian London streets with the fantastical, visual foreshadowing of Strawberry's fate. What a shot.

Greta Gerwig's Narnia trailer looks stunning and wonderfully cosmic, just not very Narnia. It feels more psychedelic than anything C.S. Lewis might have envisioned. Still, Gerwig knows Lewis's work and has a compelling vision so I'll reserve judgment until the movie comes out.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canada! May your turkey be moist, your grocery bill manageable and your politically unhinged uncle remain silent until dessert.

The world is in chaos, we're on the brink of World War III, and Workday still needs me to manually enter everything listed on my resume.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, so here's a gentle reminder that accessibility is more than just a checkbox or a blanket accessibility statement in job postings.

Accessible employment is about inclusive job postings, flexible hiring practices and work options, clear accommodation policies, and a culture where people can ask for what they need without stigma.

Above all, it’s about listening to disabled people about their experiences ane the barriers they face. Nothing about us without us.

Your workplace wants you to be yourself — just not too much. New research finds workers are changing their personality to fit. My latest Substack piece looks at the contradiction between employers calling for “authenticity” and the pressure to conform. workbeat.substack.com/p/work…

Great news: you've made it to round 14 of the interview process! After a skills assessment, a 1,000-question personality test & solving a 1987 murder, you're now asked to perform open-heart surgery on the hiring manager. Check out my @WeeklyHumorist piece: weeklyhumorist.com/congratul…
