Please help us urge @CDBaby to withdraw their removal request to @Spotify while it's still pending and the latter to conduct a comprehensive investigation. Defend small artists who do not game the system. Take down fake playlists that jeopardize our work instead.
You may have noticed that Timoteo's debut album Down on the Road has disappeared on Spotify. That's because the platform has found irregular streaming patterns associated with one of his songs, which we know nothing about. Read the full statement: subt.lt/t1En

It's about time @X allowed Reactions on the platform, but it hid Likes instead.

I just found on my old laptop the manuscripts of the two novels I started writing 10 years ago and shelved in 2018. Microsoft Word 2013 files. Password-protected. Only the rough drafts of the prologue and the first chapter of one had ever been printed. Whew.

Beso-beso is a common greeting in the Philippines, especially among those in the upper class or among relatives. Some people I meet, however, do practice the gesture almost without exception, which I think is the gray area, considering the many factors at play in such a case:

Can't blame the hosts for voicing their opinions nonetheless. They had to make it clear they don't condone any untoward behavior on their show. I just think that's not it.

I agree people should stop assuming strangers like being greeted with a beso-beso. Most of us aren't ready for it and are simply being courteous unless you're a close friend or from the family at least. We ought to still presume good faith over malice when one does it, though.
