Prediction: Webflow is about to open up to a new market and regain a lot of it's "buzz" it seems to have lost recently. We're seeing a really interesting uptick in leads from companies of all sizes looking to move off other platforms and onto Webflow. One specific trend we are seeing is larger companies with sometimes hundreds of websites that they want to move over to Webflow. It seems like these companies are struggling to build quickly with other tools and want a combination of speed, design capability, and technical extensibility. Has anyone else seen this as of late?

10 minutes. That’s how long it took me to build the page below utilizing Webflow components. I’ve been leaning into Webflow’s components and slots pretty heavily on the last couple of builds I’ve completed. This has been great to get a better understanding of their flexibility as well as their limitations. I'll post some of the pros and cons in the thread below: #webflow #componentfirst

For client’s that want a lot of flexibility but aren’t the most technical it might be better to offer solutions for working with them on an ongoing basis.

All the clients I’ve done this for don’t have a web design background so the solution worked for them. If anyone else has built a component-first website I'd love to hear any other pros and cons you've come across.

Of these three mobile navigation menus which do you think is the easiest to click and open on your phone? I would argue from left to right it’s On Running, Nike, and Adidas is last. To me On is the easiest because the menu icon is easier to tap with your thumb from it’s natural resting position rather than stretching to the top of the screen–small peanuts I know but it’s still something. What I really found interesting about all this is that the two Nike and Adidas navigation layouts with the icon in the top are obviously much more predominant across the internet even though they take a little more effort when holding your phone with one hand. I’m sure there’s a few reasons for this but the primary one I can come up with is a theory known as Jakob’s law. Essentially the TL;DR of Jakob’s law is, people spend most of their time on other people’s websites, therefore they prefer your website to work the same as one’s they’re already familiar with. On is the newest company of the three and maybe this is just a way for it to set itself apart from the other brands in the athletic shoe market. Curious if anyone has seen any instances similar to this? Also, on an unrelated note, I’m open to gym shoe suggestions. 😄

Dear @figma. Can you please offer a plan that’s just like this? I don’t need all this fluff.
