Building a website shouldn't require a computer science degree or a massive budget.
I’m Sam, and I’m building @Looops_ai in public to empower non-technical users and marketing agencies launch beautiful websites fast, without the hefty price tag.

Almost every comment on this post is a bot or ai generated, i'm not sure what i did wrong or what changed recently with x but this is horrible!
Building a SaaS is one thing.
Running a successful one is a totally different beast.
The fires i had to extinguish in the last few hours:
- Found out our failed payment emails had never been sending, because that webhook was crashing on production
- A customer bought a domain inside Looops and it never went live, because our setup code failed quietly right after the sale, wired their domain by hand, got the site live, then rewrote that code so it doesn't happen again
- Another customer got Looops Pro yearly on a card with not enough funds, it got marked past due, while the dashboard still showed them as free, so they bought a top-up and then paid for a second Pro "monthly" subscription, I had to investigate all this in real time and cancel their failed subscription so stripe doesn't double charge them in a few days
- Stopped upgrades from going through on declined cards
- Added a banner that tells people their payment failed instead of quietly calling them free
- Found our first subscription email calling every paying customer Pro, including Personal plan, fixed the copy.
- Users were allowed to add invalid emails to their website notifications allow list. Now Looops verifies an inbox is valid before adding it.
A lot of positives happened today too:
- 120 clicks from google in the last 28 days
- Today we hit the 400 websites mark. 400 websites are live because of Looops it just boggles my mind
- Hit 60% of my initial MRR target
- A new customer upgraded their plan and bought a domain 25 minutes after signing up, it's a repeating pattern that proves the system works for the right target market
- Got approved as a domain partner by Cloudflare and IONOS, so domains connect themselves with one click
- Shipped "collaborators", so you can invite someone to one project instead of your whole workspace
- Rebuilt the domain setup screen and updated the docs with proper guides for GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare and IONOS
- In my admin panel support tickets now show whether the customer read my reply
- The dashboard tells users when their free credits refill
1 day 12 prod deployments none of this was on the roadmap. It is the part nobody sees, but it decides whether you win or you lose.

most requested feature, finally live: click any text on your looops site, type the new words, done.
no AI. no credits. no waiting. works on images too.
I might be silent on social media but behind the scenes Looops is growing like wildfire 🔥 here are some stats:
90 clicks from google search in the past 28 days.
50% of those clicks turned into signups 30% of the clicks turned into published websites.
Google search is the second biggest traffic driver in the past 28 days.
ChatGPT referrals take the lead with 61 signups.
Everything that was "leeked" for GTA 6 isn't even close to what Rockstar showcased today, and the best part is that today's footage was on PS5 not even on the PS5 Pro!
