We're hiring interns at Kantipur Media Group as part of a new program that brings in young journalists, trains them, and builds a path to full-time roles across its various verticals and platforms. I got my start in a Nepali newsroom (not Kathmandu Post, they wouldn't take me!) that let me try things I wasn't yet qualified to do. That's what we're offering here. We're taking on *five* reporting interns who will report and write (primarily in Nepali) across business, politics, arts & entertainment, and society beats. What we're looking for is curiosity that doesn't switch off, and the willingness to be edited hard. The internship is open to anyone, but we will prioritize women candidates.
