It’s been 6 weeks of learning, unlearning, and a great deal of character and leadership assessment and development. 6 weeks doing it exhausted, smart somedays, barely holding it together some others, but I made it!! Proudly a 2025 MW Fellow of the mighty Presidential Precinct.

I knew from High School, when I’d routinely show up after the second period on days my dad didn't take me, that I wasn't cut out for a 9-5. Like I just can't get myself out of bed before 7:00am

I try not to talk too much about missing my dad because I don't want my mum to think she's not doing enough to fill the gap he left and/or show up for us, because she is.
