Apple finally decided it's my turn to fold a phone. So I spent the weekend seeing if I could rebuild Netflix's folded iPhone Duo player on the web. This is Video.js 10 in Safari. Pretty close! 🧵

It's looking so much more refined and somewhat bearable on macOS/iOS 27. Worth jumping on the betas for that alone.

There have been loads of really useful CSS features added recently, but being able to derive colors, especially from currentColor, is a game changer. For example: `oklch(from currentColor l c h / 0.8)` …gives me a live 0.8-alpha version of currentColor. So handy!👌🔥
