While today's outcome is not what was hoped for, I want to take a moment to express gratitude to @SenLummis, who's fought so hard to ensure the US takes its rightful leadership of the digital asset space, and who I know will continue to do so for the remainder of the Senate session (this thing ain't over!).
If you haven't listened to her remarks on the Senate floor just prior to the cloture vote, please do so - it was a tour de force.
Senator Lummis (and your amazing staff), thank you for all you do in service of Big Wyoming and the United States of America!
Today's Senate procedural vote on the CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633) fell short of the 60 votes needed to open floor debate.
The legislative path may have stalled, but the need for clear, workable rules for U.S. digital asset markets has not. We now look to the SEC & CFTC to help provide that clarity.
Casper keeps building either way, because compliance-ready infrastructure for regulated, real-world adoption does not wait for Washington.
