Until the 1950's you had to put crops in jars of vinegar and store them in a hole underground so you could eat in the winter. We need the youth to stop pretending to be victims and learn how life was and why it's so much easier for them, not harder. xitter.cf/LeeKuanYimby/status/21…

You can either have a first-world, high-trust society with effective social welfare programs.
Or you can have third-world mass immigration.
But you can't have both.

The look of someone discovering reality.
This young woman stood in front of a smashed shop window in Paris last night and said the smashing and looting are not what the cause is about. She still believes the people who broke the glass share her cause. They don’t. They have their own.
This is not how she imagined it. It has a name: cognitive dissonance – the pain of watching reality contradict what you were told to believe.
She learned it last night, in pain. Millions of others will learn it in the coming months – the same way. Because reality doesn’t need the media. It comes through the window.
We were right all along.👇🏻
And they were wrong.
So will they admit it now, and let go of their delusions? Or will they double down?
In 1954, an American psychologist infiltrated a small cult that had predicted the end of the world on a precise date. The date came. Nothing happened. Did the believers give up? The most committed did the opposite: they started preaching harder than ever.
That is what most true believers will do. Admitting the error would cost them their friends, their careers and their image of themselves. So they will blame the police, the "far right," the economy, the weather – anything but the idea.
For them to change their minds, their whole system will have to collapse – the salaries, the institutions, the friends who all think alike. Belief survives as long as the group survives. We have seen it before: in 1989, when the system fell, Poland’s communists woke up one morning as social democrats – and a good number of them as businessmen.
But the believers are not the audience. The people watching are. Reality rarely converts the priests. It converts the congregation – one broken window at a time.
And yesterday was much more than a broken window. A day like that must have opened the eyes of millions. Events like that change history.
The priests will keep preaching. The congregation has already started to leave.

It's the Civilization, stupid.
And France has lost its own.
That young woman in Paris thought she and the people breaking the windows stood for the same thing. Politically, maybe. Ideologically, even, to a degree. Civilizationally – not at all. And civilization is the basis of everything else.
A Polish historian, Feliks Koneczny, put it in one sentence: you cannot be civilized in two ways at once. Two people can share a slogan and still live by opposite rules – about property, about law, about violence, about what you owe a stranger. There can be no stable common ground between them. Only a temporary alliance against a common enemy, which ends the moment the windows break.
France has lost its civilizational values. Or rather, it has lost the ability to state them.
Because saying things openly and plainly was never part of the French way and values. Rhetoric is. The French absorb their rules of civilized life from childhood – the manners, the codes, the unwritten "ça ne se fait pas" – without ever spelling them out. Among themselves, it works. With foreign populations, it fails. You cannot explain a code you have never put into words. You cannot transmit what you cannot say. The rhetoric doesn’t work if you haven’t absorbed it first.
And the government that should defend the French way of life now belongs to another civilization itself – however French it looks. The civilization of mental communism: managers, procedures, slogans. It has no instinct to defend a way of life. Only the instinct to administer it.
You can integrate people into a civilization, possibly. But you have to be able to state the rules clearly.
That is the advantage of plain-spoken cultures: what you can say, you can teach. And what you can teach, you can pass on.
It's the civilization, stupid.
“Why are you doing this? Stop it! That’s not what we stand for!”
A young French woman who appears to be leftist tries unsuccessfully to stop looters from breaking into a supermarket.
Cause and consequence, face to face.
I can’t help but feel heartbroken to helplessly watch my country being torn apart.

France will not recover; this is the end. The nation has lost the cultural war. The demographic structure has shifted forever.
People who find it easy to spray graffiti on the magnificent architecture of French cities and burn Paris are the new French people.
All class and decorum are gone.
Arrivals from failed third-world states are not coming to assimilate or to be French; they are coming to live the third-world way.
The unfolding civil unrest in France is not fundamentally about student grievances or dilapidated classrooms.
The chaos is the inevitable result of an unholy, anti-white alliance that has turned parts of major French cities into dangerous enclaves where state authority has completely surrendered.
The Emmanuel Macron administration has completely lost control.
The political elite have spent years hiding the true demographic shifts, pretending that multicultural integration works while the traditional French way of life is hollowed out.
The French state is broke and paralyzed because it has spent decades funding its own demographic replacement.
The areas burning today are heavily linked to enclaves where the police rarely dare to venture, zones where Western legal norms have been replaced by radical, sectarian influences.
While the mainstream media tries to fact-check the footage by calling it old or out of context, the raw video on the ground shows a society reaching a violent tipping point.
This unrest is a warning sign for the entire Western world.
A country that refuses to defend its borders, its history, and its culture will eventually face the progressive implosion of social trust.
Once you surrender your borders and sacrifice your national identity to accommodate diasporas with totally different cultural backgrounds, you do not get a richer society; you get a war zone.
France has completely failed its own people.

Democrats discovered billionaires in politics were a threat to democracy the exact day one stopped writing them checks.
When Michael Bloomberg spent around $1 billion of his own money in the 2020 primary, then another $100M to help Biden in Florida, nobody called it an attack on democracy.
When George Soros put $125M into a single Democratic super PAC and became the largest political donor of the 2022 cycle, it was "civic engagement."
When Reid Hoffman, Dustin Moskovitz, JB Pritzker and Tom Steyer wrote eight- and nine-figure checks cycle after cycle, it was "saving democracy." When Bill Gates reportedly gave around $50M to a pro-Harris group in 2024, silence.
In 2020, dark money groups spent over $500M backing Democrats, more than double what went to Republicans. In 2024, Kamala Harris raised more than $1 billion in under three months. Democrats outspent Republicans and lost.
So the problem was never billionaires in politics. The problem is a billionaire who doesn't fund your side.
And here's what nobody in DC wants to say out loud: old billionaire money is quiet money. It funds the foundations, NGOs, think tanks and consultants that make up the permanent establishment. It doesn't challenge the system. It is the system. It freezes the picture: same insiders, same incumbents, same experts, every single cycle.
You can like or hate Musk's spending, but at least it's out in the open. If you really want money out of politics, start with your own party's donor list.
If 1/2 the budget is fraud…
Federal spending: $7.4 trillion
Taxes collected: $5.4 trillion
Deficit: $2.0 trillion
If fraud is removed…
Federal spending: $3.7 trillion
Taxes collected: $5.4 trillion
Surplus: $1.7 trillion
American taxpayers could have a 37% tax decrease if fraud is removed.
Imagine keeping 37% more of YOUR money instead of it being stolen?
Imagine a life without being robbed.
Woah.🤯

Since Lindsay Clancy:
82 mothers have killed 123 of their own children.
37 MORE mothers tried.
52 children survived.
These are just the ones that made the local news.
Every time, the same excuse: Postpartum. Hormones. Psychosis.
NO.
Hormones are not a defense and the mothers are not the victims.
The children are.
The moment we call the killer a victim, the children never get justice.
Someone has to speak for them.
So I will.
America, we have a problem.

Somalia has been given approximately $8.4 billion dollars in aid over the last 10 years, over $12.6 billion over the last 20 years from American taxpayers and globally Somalia has received over $30 BILLION in aid during that time
USAID shut down only 15 months ago and the media is saying Somalia is now facing famine and no medical care
Where did the $30 BILLION dollars go?
Why is it the American taxpayers responsibility to fund Somalia and pay for their food and medical care?? No one can answer that question
Why can’t they get a government together and provide aid for their own people, why can’t they create something to make wealth for their own country instead of asking for every else to pay for them
It makes zero sense
