ALT Over the weekend of 28th and 29th September, Shrewsbury is holding its second ever Pride celebrations with a number of activities across the town, including a Pride March from Market Square on Saturday at 12pm. It's only ten days away, but having now had time off work confirmed for the day in question, our founder Andy Garden intends to walk as part of the Pride March, wearing a town shirt with pride, with our original Proud Salopians flag from 2019, and some cards and stickers to give away as we walk to represent and celebrate our collective identities, wherever we fall along the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. It would be an absolute honour to be joined by as many Proud Salopians members and Town fans who are our allies as possible - in their Town shirts, scarves or club colours. Andy is more than happy to represent solo, but if you're free prior to the Rotherham game from 11:30hrs for an hour or two, and would be interested in joining in the march, please reach out to us!
