Leeteuk was obviously trying to be playful and nice, listing out some famous American people that he probably thought most of Americans liked (that person won the election after all, with the help of that other person). He also shouted In-N-Out and Ootani. (btw, Ootani is his only true love- he kept on talking about him in his YouTube lives) Also, in S. Korea (and I should say in Japan/China/HK/TW, too, as far as I'm aware), people mostly don't view EM as a political figure. I mean, sure, we're aware he's involved in politics now, but we still mostly view him as some kind of genius businessman who created Te*la. Kind of in the same league as Steve Jobs. You could see that even in a previous episode of Super TV, where a member failed to recognize his face on a photo and they ALL were acting like "how could you"? Was it because they all supported EM politically? NO. It was because he's considered by S. Koreans as one of the most famous Americans now. Maybe you'd say, "How can you be so ignorant?" Well, the fact is, not everyone in the world cares about US politics as much as the Americans do. I'm not saying you can't feel any negative emotions regarding what Teukie said; I'm just saying we need to consider the different cultures before accusing. Educate, not hate. * Lastly and personally, I'm just really tired of this situation where Leeteuk did all those good all these years, and some of you just easily go "OH I'M DISAPPOINTED. WHAT WAS HE THINKING" as if he did something horribly wrong on purpose. Like... Please.
