We developed a new technique called HistoPerm for histopathology representation learning that requires little to no labeled data. This is especially critical in applications where data labeling is a resource-intensive bottleneck.
More specifically, HistoPerm uses the weakly-labeled nature of whole-slide images to augment the possible view pairings enabling the model to learn better representations.
