For me, @X is my public scrapbook. I come here to share whatever I have experienced, learned, and what has worked for me, what moved me, what helped me, what transformed me, what brought me closer to truth in my life. I share freely, because I believe that whatever we learn, if we share it freely, it becomes more alive. Knowledge doesn’t belong to us- it belongs to the Universe. Whether it’s Yoga, Scriptures, Technology, or simply Life- it is Universal. Nothings belongs to us. So, whatever I share is my offering back to the source. Take what serves you, leave what doesn’t. 🙏
In the age of AI now each & every word that you write will always be read with an element of suspicion…whether it’s written/partially written by AI. This may not impact people in jobs as for them it’s a tool and is meant to be used. But it’s impacting writers, students…
Never give anyone so much importance that you lose your ability to question them - be it a politician, religious leader, spiritual figure or anyone who expects complete obedience.
We don’t have to agree with everyone on their politics, ideology, culture, religion. We don’t have to like everything people do. But surely, we can still treat each other with basic human decency & kindness. Being a good human being should not depend on whether someone agrees with you or not.
The world needs more love. Not just to heal, but to survive. I feel love has almost disappeared from our lives. Have we become so busy fighting, judging & hating that we have forgotten how to love? So much anger, jealousy & bitterness. So little kindness & understanding.
V disturbing..Last week it was about Srilankan man, Anojan’s life and now loss of these 2 young lives. Which God gets pleased by beheadings carried out in His name? If God is the creator of life, who gave human beings the right to kill in His name? Love? Compassion? Mercy???

According to the ministry, security authorities arrested the two following the incident. They were subsequently charged after an investigation and later executed, the statement said.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Saudi authorities confirmed executing Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar on Oct 14 for an "immoral act" inside a Mecca mosque. The video is unrelated footage of pilgrims at the Kaaba, not the incident.

When the Upanishads were translated into English/western languages for the first time, people of that time were amazed to see that Upanishads did not prescribe any spiritual discipline in the form of “do’s & don’ts” or any moral code of conduct. Upanishads only tell you to remember who you are vs who you believe you are. That’s the beautiful truth of life.
Shiva Sutra 1.17- वितर्क आत्मज्ञानम्।
Unwavering awareness of oneself as SHIVA is knowledge of the Self.
The western world stands on the verge of a spiritual rebirth, and this may require shift in its mindset & attitude towards life- there’s more to life than just material/tech ambitions & achievements. The balance is clearly missing- and some of them v well know this.
What on earth is happening to our world? Where exactly are we heading? One side we are claiming that we have made extraordinary progress in science, technology and intelligence. On other side having wars, riots, hatred, violence, looting, racist attacks, beheadings, terrorism.
When politicians tell you that they will make your city or state like Kyoto, Singapore or West- tell them to just shut up and make it like India. India doesn’t need to become Singapore or China- India needs to become India, a resilient, intelligent progressive Civilisation that it once was.
India’s problem is that inherently its people suffer from inferiority complex. We love to praise everything about other countries and demean everything about our own. A typical slave mindset. India doesn’t have to become like other countries- it just needs to go back to its own roots.
How is the world even coping up with so much bloodshed- wars, riots, violence, terrorism, protestors, radicalization, hijacks, more violence?
One half of the world is busy building AI and creating panic over it. The other half is busy with riots, wars and destroying what humanity has already built. Total chaos & craziness everywhere.
Why are we are turning our festivals into an entertainment show? Everything has become a show now. I really don’t know where we are heading as a society. Just witnessed a Dandiya celebration inside a residential society. Couldn’t stand there for even 5 mins. Drinking, smoking, open vulgarity and some are under even substance effect- 95% youngsters in attendance.
When I read about AI models and the progress its LLMs are making, can't help but wonder how human intelligence has created something that is beginning to push the boundaries of human knowledge itself. But then i also think that as machines become better at thinking, what is going to happen to the thinking abilities of the human beings using them?
AI can help strengthen thinking if it is designed and used to challenge us, rather than merely supply answers. Or else in the long run- it will make people stupid.
