I need women to start embracing male hobbies too. Disappear for six hours on a Saturday and come back with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Some ADHDers find making phone calls CRINGE, because it takes so much energy and social skills to talk on the phone. Not to mention if the other person is not ADHD we need to mask, and ughhh. Can you relate? XO, Dr. Jen

Black American households’ median net worth fell approximately 25% between 2022 and 2025, dropping from $49,100 to $36,800—a loss of $12,300 in inflation-adjusted dollars—according to Federal Reserve data highlighted in CEPR’s October 13 article, “Black Wealth Takes a Nosedive”, by economist Algernon Austin. Meanwhile, median wealth increased among White, Hispanic and Asian households, reaching $332,100, $79,600 and $677,600, respectively. The national median reached $215,900, leaving Black households $179,100 behind, compared with a $162,000 gap in 2022. CEPR’s analysis suggests declining values of homes, vehicles and retirement accounts contributed to the decrease, while the share of Black households owning nonfinancial assets fell from 81% to 78.4%. Austin also criticizes the Trump administration’s priorities and argues that state and local governments and nonprofit organizations will need to help address the disparity. These figures measure median wealth—assets minus debts—not income, and do not mean every Black household lost 25% of its wealth.

@opelikaschools kindergarteners got a front-row seat to police work this morning during the Careers on Wheels event at Southern Union! Officers Smith & Turner had a blast showing our littlest learners around their patrol cars and letting them try on some equipment.
