thinking about it, i don’t think you can have a worst song ever. if a song is unimaginative one it’ll still be pleasant enough to listen to. if it’s abrasive or discordant it’ll likely be interesting or have some catharsis to it. if it’s annoying it’s probably catchy and crafted

this is actually true. i think i would have an amazing time on the dance floor with all my friends and family while new zealand rock band atlas’s unbelievably unpleasant single crawl plays
looked up an author i know’s book on goodreads and one is the reviews just said “THE SCREAM I JUST SCRUMPT” and is got so upset i had to take a walk around the block to calm down
