There's a clip (maybe several) where Victor Wooten explains the concept of playing the "wrong" notes.
I saw it in my late twenties and it completely changed the way I viewed playing and the way that I play the guitar.
Dude is on a different musical plane of existence tbh.
Shakespeare could have never written One Mic. Not in a million fucking years.
All of Shakespeare's plays are 296 pages of hot garbage, for one line on one page that you read and say "ok that's pretty legit, nice one Billy Boy I see you".

I don’t think this comment section is old enough to know who Talib or Mos Def are so they are dismissing the comparison. This is a compliment, not a diss. Talib came up in an Era of prime JAY Z, prime Wayne, prime Dipset, prime Kanye..conscious rappers almost never outshined the mainstream acts.
Now that I think about it, Mermaid Man actually bears pretty close resemblance to @thestevenbauer if he was older

Get Bill & Keonne the fuck out of prison now.
Bank of America just paid $1.2 billion for willfully violating the Bank Secrecy Act, failing to report $5B+ in suspicious transactions tied to money laundering networks over 7 years.
No one is going to jail. They booked the fine as a line item and sent $8.3 billion back to shareholders in the same quarter.
Meanwhile Keonne Rodriguez and Bill Hill, the founders of Samourai Wallet, are sitting in federal prison for building non-custodial software that never touched a dime of anyone's money. FinCEN itself said Samourai wasn't a money transmitter. Prosecutors charged them anyway.
BofA is a licensed money transmitter that willfully broke the law for years and walked. Two developers who wrote open source code got caged.
Two-tier justice system. Be aware, freaks.

walked past a bar and they got How It’s Made on the tv. They got me. Floated on up there like a cartoon character sniffing a pie on a windowsill
