Chicago's music scene makes life in the city more joyful. Buy a ticket to a show in advance. Listen to CHIRP radio to hear who's playing what. And do me a favor and support my work at the station with a donation.

Traveling where many media subscriptions aren't valid, CHIRP Radio remains a delightful worldwide listening resource from Chicago volunteers. Check out the benefits of a CHIRP subscription--new merch is in! chirpradio.app.neoncrm.com/f…

Thanks to @mflorezg and my @purpose_brand friends, @NealMcKnight. All those listening for the low Tuesday voice, send @CHIRPRadio a few bucks.
Great storytelling builds community. When PB writer/editor Stephen Rynkiewicz isn’t crafting client narratives, he's amplifying Chicago’s independent arts scene as a volunteer DJ for @CHIRPRadio. Independent media is worth our support! 📻🎙️ chirpradio.app.neoncrm.com/f… #ChicagoArts

I'm happy to hear from people listening to @CHIRPRadio. It's a volunteer alternative to commercial radio and streaming services with an emphasis on Chicago music, arts and culture. I'm the deepest of the 6am voices. Please support a nonprofit I care about.

This is a fascinating fiction, but name-dropping historic events. Just as law enforcement now has to worry about hackproof phones, so military intelligence soon will face unbreakable encryption. defenseone.com/ideas/2026/03…
Much to my surprise, Goodreads considers me among its top 10% book reviewers. Mostly I'm writing for myself. Do the reviews help you discover anything new? goodreads.com/user/year_in_b…
Tuesday is my last DJ shift for 2025 at @CHIRPRadio. All month I've been playing my favorite indie releases of the year. What are yours? chirpradio.org/blog/chirp-ra…
Reading "Frank Zappa's America"
by Bradley Morgan of @CHIRPRadio is sending me back to the epic Zappa characters Studebaker Hawk and Billy the Mountain, which in my mind look like this.
Lots of scary Halloween fun this week on @CHIRPRadio, including my tarot reading. I drew the two of swords from Chicago’s Oux band. chirpradio.org/dj/16821
