Anyone else seeing OpenAI have (presumably) other user's conversation descriptions? I was posting about tailwind/css and it labeled the convo "Přesměrovat na personální oddělení" which apparently means Forward to HR in Czech. @OpenAI

You know you're getting old when you decrease the resolution of your laptop when working during a drive, only to forget and keep using that resolution for half a week 🤣

I've been stoked on @eversql. I've used them to analyze some tough queries and it's been super helpful!

I think a large number of business owners would do well to document their existing processes, even if they aren't trying to decide on software. I have a feeling there are major opportunities lurking in most businesses.
SMB owners do software selection all wrong! Document your existing process first Start with something like this: A process map or checklist (We built this for one of our service lines) Your brain alone is a terrible judge of if the tool you are evaluating is good enough

Hat tip to @randfish for sharing @asmartbear's article the other day. From Rand: It's a masterpiece. As valuable as "The Lean Startup" or "Good to Great," but free, and readable in /10th the time. Everyone considering starting a business should read it... twice.

Any one have mini split recommendations for a small 120-150 sq ft shed office? Doesn’t snow here but there’s multiple days over 100 degrees. #REtwit

Pssst. I made a cool new thing. It's called the Hiring Junior Devs Bootcamp. It's a free six day email course designed to teach you how to onboard junior developers and ensure their success on your team. Let me know what you think :) davepaola.com/hiring-junior-…

Looking for an iOS engineer to do a small amount of work on a legacy app (objective c). Hit me up if you know someone or are interested yourself. Will likely lead to more work down the line. 🙏

Friends, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been piloting a development agency for awhile now, and it’s time to make it real: @SierraRails. Our mission is to be the place where Junior Ruby on Rails developers kickstart their careers with valuable real-world experience.
