I’m pausing further posting here for now.
I’ve migrated to Bluesky.
Hope to see you there.
I used to be active on Twitter but have been quieter in 2024, partly to focus on communicating with Boulder folks in more target ways, like my newsletter.
Moving into my 2nd year on council I’m going to try to increase my presence—on Bluesky.
See you over there.

The citywide bikeway network for #Boulder is taking a step forward.
Staff has unveiled a recommended design for Iris Ave, a 4-lane stroad surrounded by schools, houses, & parks.
Plans put a 2-way PBL on the sunny north side & reduce car lanes 4->3.

To preserve our natural environment, let people live near where they need to go and cut down on destructive sprawl and overbuilt highways.
And to make big things happen, lead.
Thanks @GJVGarrison.

The cities & county of #Boulder are #climate leaders.
Let’s take a next step and create more systematic methods to ensure decisions are considering risks, opportunities, & issues with sophistication.
Great op-ed by Mary Pettigrew & Scott Miller.

Thank you Mayor @AaronBrockett12 on voting for my proposal to add holistic #climate policy to #Boulder city code.
Won’t be a council workplan item per se but we’re a step closer to making it happen & hv put some solid new climate efforts in motion.
More to come after sleep 😀
Just discovered the @TheCoffeeRide’s pedal/walk-up coffee window with grass seating and wonderful #Boulder just become more wonderful.
City of #Boulder has a chance to put into city code:
* Holistic #climate policy with firm guardrails
* Integration of transpo & land use into a unified concept of human-centered #accessibility
And more, thanks to excellent work from my colleagues.

My newsletter on #Boulder City Council for April.
Covers our most important process, 2-yr workplan setting, which is this week.
And my hopes to put city code & other tools to work for structural change in #climate action, safe streets, & #accessibility.
