With tens of thousands of stakeholders, the DAO allocated resources across multiple areas and the team shipped quickly, but, since the project was not able to re-achieve profitability, reducing costs this year and narrowing the focus under new leadership is the right decision.
It’s been my privilege to work with so many great people at DG over these last few years, including but not limited to @leorofe, @matthewbarby, Joker, Courtney, mGuy, Saus, Spicy, & Miles.
Spicy has runway to build.
If I have more to give as a part of the DAO, I’ll give it. 🫡

Twin goals of EF:
1. Usage of Ethereum - but usage of a type where users are actually benefiting from Ethereum's underlying properties

Systems that are biased, controlled, and otherwise not decentralized are fundamentally narrower - constricting innovation, encouraging local rather than global maxima, hampering free-market growth, and ultimately leading us to a more brittle outcome in an increasingly dynamic world
