Privileged to hear another friend preach at the LBC Pastor’s Conference today. I’m so inspired by @ryanricesr. His heart for the gospel and his Christ-centered leadership in his church and in our cooperative work is a model and example we should seek to emulate.

A good reminder from @ryanricesr on why a healthy church, where people are making progress in sanctification, will be a messy church in many ways. research.lifeway.com/2023/10…

Best part of church today? Seeing our deacons navigate around strollers and walkers to take up the offering. Invest in every generation. @ryanricesr

#Socialist deny the failure of their system. #liberal theology denies the power of the #HolySpirit. #Revisionist deny the lessons of #history. #Racist deny the equality of man. The cure is #JESUS changing hearts.

King David tried to cover his sin & save his hide. The consequences reverberated through the Kingdom. You can’t save your hide & cleanse your heart at the same time. My denomination needs a prophet, a Nathan, or an Elijah. 1/2

We're always inspired when churches raise up and send out people for God's glory.
Connect Algiers, planted by @sendneworleans missionaries Ryan and Seane' Rice, recently prayed over John Mark as he prepares to begin his new role as a chaplain for the @USNavy.
