One of my favorite pieces from my @BroBible days, prompted by @brandonwenerd asking me to write about Sturgill, breaking down all the great Dad advice on Sturgill Simpson’s “A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.” Happy Father’s Day.

This time of year, it’s hard not to think back to Trey Anastasio’s Beacon run, a highlight during a period of lowlights. Back then, I wrote about the run & Trey cracking the virtual concerts code for @BroBible. #Phish

Back in my day, we didn't have a bevy of streaming services at our fingertips to listen to live shows. We relied on bootlegs & if we were lucky, live releases. Here are the best live releases from the '90s Jam Band Era.

It’s a damn shame that they drop a whole season of ‘The Bear’ at once. It deserves better & should be talked about each week. Shows disappear too quickly with a full season dump. ‘The Bear’ has earned the right to go week to week. #TheBear
I didn’t mention The Wire but I do think I had a pretty nifty Last of Us/Patriots analogy. Also, Viva La Jesse.

Sturgill Simpson's amazing third record 'A Sailor's Guide to Earth' was released OTD in 2016. The album leans heavily on father/son themes and is full of such solid Dad advice, that I wrote a whole piece about it for @BroBible
