One of the writers for Lanterns is Tom King. Tom King wrote Heroes in Crisis. Heroes in Crisis was a main reason for me dumping DC comics. Now Lanterns makes sense

The real issue on data centers, transmission lines, flock cameras, FISA, beef imports, Islam, immigration, “safety” regulations, healthcare, & pretty much everything…
AMERICANS WANT TO STOP BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO BY GOVERNMENT & CORPORATE A$$HATS WHO SAY JUST “TRUST US.” They don’t. And shouldn’t.
They cannot afford healthcare, they can’t afford a house, they can’t live in a safe & secure community of trust and shared values - while they see yet another strip mall or concrete box data center funded by private equity bros… who are working with the real estate bros who are in bed with local government to hike their local bonds for another mega school filled with teachers telling their kids that they are racist and should be gay or another sex…
All while they bulldoze 100 year old oak trees and suck up water and electricity - forcing prices up while we watch power come in on transmission lines from some ugly solar panel or wind farm covering up farmland… that only exist because corporate subsidies to cronies getting rich from those government subsidies….
To be told that we HAVE to do AI… because China and prosperity… to have our kids look at screens dotted with pornography, sports betting, and eye-crushing addiction… when no one can tell them that we can control AI to maintain a moral society and a Republican form of government, which as sh*tty as it is… is the worst form except for all the others… or that AI is not going to take their job… but just “trust us,” there the tech oligarchs will definitely “provide” for them as benevolent despots with universal wealth… because… you know, yeah - history is dotted with such experiences.
This rant is on behalf of all the Texans and Americans I know who are NOT idiots… who are fine with technology… fine with profits… and aren’t conspiracy theorists… but who are tired of all the society crushing, soul-crushing bullsh*t built in the back of corporate whores who don’t give a crap about them and while they want modern advancement…
…They simply want to recognize America again. Whether they can articulate it or not… they want joy, time, family, conversation, a safe Christian-based western community without Islamic prayer calls… and they would like predictability for more than 5 seconds - with the dignity of a job they can maintain and count on to go along with it…
So – the elites and the government officials can please stop lecturing the people on how “stupid” they are and instead… stop destroying America with debt, unlimited immigration, and empowerment of corporate board rooms over people… and then telling them you’re not doing just that…

🇺🇸 30 Heroes in 30 Days — Nathan Hale: The Young Patriot Who Gave His Life for His Country
Countdown to July 4! 🇺🇸
One of the most inspiring and tragic stories of the American Revolution! Nathan Hale, a 21-year-old schoolteacher from Connecticut, became an enduring symbol of patriotism and sacrifice when he volunteered for a dangerous mission and faced death with unwavering courage.
Born on June 6, 1755, Hale graduated from Yale College at age 18 and became a schoolteacher. When war broke out, he joined the Continental Army as a lieutenant in 1775. By 1776, with the British occupying New York, General Washington desperately needed intelligence on enemy positions. Hale volunteered for the perilous assignment.
Disguised as a Dutch schoolteacher, he crossed into British-held territory to gather information. On September 21, 1776, he was captured with incriminating documents. The next morning, without trial, he was sentenced to hang as a spy.
Standing on the gallows, the young patriot delivered words that would echo through American history: “I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country.”
This declaration, reported by those present, captured the spirit of a man who willingly laid down his life for liberty. He was hanged on September 22, 1776, at just 21 years old.
Nathan Hale’s bravery and selfless sacrifice were not widely recognized during the war itself, but his story grew into legend in the 19th century. Today, statues honor him across the country, including at CIA headquarters, where he is considered one of America’s first spies.
Nathan Hale reminds us that the fight for American independence was carried forward by ordinary citizens: young, brave, & willing to risk everything. His one life helped inspire a nation, and his legacy continues to call each generation to cherish and defend the freedoms he died to secure. 🇺🇸

If David Stearns was here when David Wright was playing for the #Mets he would have ended up finishing his career in another uniform. Think about that.

JUST IN: Tim Tebow shows senators a map of the United States showing every single location where someone is downloading, sharing, or distributing CSAM.
“We are losing the battle, and we are losing the war, and boys and girls are suffering for it…”
“Every red dot that is on there is someone that is downloading, sharing, or distributing [CSAM].”
“55% to 85% of them are also hands-on offenders, and we know that your average offender has thirteen victims in their lifetime.”
“The scale of harm right here in America is, to a certain extent, hard to comprehend, but that's why we're here.”
I’m hoping Shakir plays tonight and isn’t hurt from sleeping on the dad bed in the hospital #BillsMafia
My three takeaways
1) Shavers came up big
2) defense made plays when it counted
3) Josh can’t throw to short receivers

To all of you who said you were going to church today, I’m praying you found an amazing house of God where you can worship and grow.
Just spending tonight praying for people who are walking into a church for the first time or the first time in a long time tomorrow. I know God will use this for His glory in the end no matter how bad it may seem today. Find a church, become a member and then go witness to others

Acho, you are not built for “uncomfortable conversations.” You’re uninformed. Cenk pronounces his name Chink. Charlie Kirk called the man by his name. When you argue for jobs based on skin color, gender and sexual preference, you invite people to question qualifications/merit.
