Curiously, despite NY hospitalizations passing Delta’s peak, & NYC hospitalizations increasing 40% since mid-September, New York isn’t mentioned.
Replying to @LauraMiers
We will ignore this too.
“The state’s current hospitalization wave is ‘pretty close, if not higher than the Delta peak,’ he said, referring to the deadly COVID wave that rocked the U.S. late last year, right before Omicron hit.” fortune.com/well/2022/10/22/…
Deadly and medically resistant fungus infections are on the rise.
But usually only cause an infection in people with weakened immune systems.
I think that means a whole bunch of people are walking around with weakened immune systems and don't know it.

somewhere, probably in Vancouver, a miserable team labors miserably for miserable bosses who will at best throw them a pizza party to boost morale as they all try not to think of the “hot dog buns breasts should be bigger” email they received from the client

While the article downplays the situation, MASKS are mentioned! 🤯

Hope your kids don't need the hospital for Covid, RSV, or anything else - because they are running out of beds quickly.
Wearing a mask will help for all of those viruses, by the way.
More than 7,000 cases in just one week this month!
The rise in RSV is leading doctors to prep for a potentially rough winter.

If you are strongly advising that people mask indoors, and no one is doing it, and that is having real time consequences, what’s the plan?

Just monstrous. Formalism over justice. Appalling.
This is one of the more alarming opinions I've read in a while. DNA testing excluded Ohio death row prisoner as source of sperm.
Ohio SC: OH law requires *prisoner* to request testing. B/c request came from prosecutors, conviction/death sentence stand.
