The Colts are likely to want to recoup as much draft capital as they can to reset the franchise under their new GM, but idk how they do it. They’re going to have a high 1st round pick this season, but it belongs to the Jets (just like their 2026 1st & AD Mitchell did). The Sauce trade is and always was unforgivably stupid. You could look to trade him already, but he isn’t fetching ANYTHING NEAR what you *just* paid for him. Quenton Nelson & DeForest Buckner are valuable assets, but they’re both on expiring contracts. So you have 3 weeks and counting to get anything for them if you’re Indy. Pierce is untradeable as things stand. This is a team in line for a complete 2026 Dolphins-esque season in 2027.
