The Royals had the 7th-best record in baseball in 2014 and had to play a one-game Wild Card and then made it to Game 7 of the World Series.
And then won it all the next season.
The playoffs are supposed to be hard. Why is there so much complaining about it now?

Every year, without fail, on the first day of the season, we get a package from our kids' old daycare provider back in KC with a note and that year's flag.
Not sure what this season will bring, but we'll be loyal and cheering all along.

The number of people throwing a fit that the NHL's return to Atlanta won't actually be "in Atlanta" must forget that the Buffalo Bills don't play in Buffalo. The Dallas Cowboys don't play in Dallas.
Neither New York NFL team plays in the damn state.

Also, I preferred the North Point location because I could technically walk to games there.

I might finally have an NHL team to pull for.
I tried supporting the Blues at one time but cheering for anything St. Louis felt wrong.
