If you know me, then you know my love for the Men’s College World Series, especially its history. I love this piece for the 75th anniversary of the CWS in Omaha. Thanks to our entire ESPN crew for penning this love letter with me. #MCWS

The most predictable end for St. John’s. Lack of shot-making ability and not getting the friendly whistle it got all year in the Big East. And Pitino leaving RJ Luis on the bench for the final two minutes and change was certainly a decision.

Now is as good a time as any to remind everyone that the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City (@NLBMuseumKC) exists to tell a deeply important American story -- one that is ultimately about triumph. Our history, good and bad, is all we have. Learning it is our duty.

Greg was the best. He was always there to offer advice and encouragement to myself & other students during my college radio days. I selfishly will miss hearing him on Saturdays, but he will always be the “Voice of the Huskers” for an entire generation. RIP
For 17 years, Greg Sharpe spoke past the microphone and into our hearts. His legacy will be woven into the moments he narrated and carried on through the relationships he built. We are deeply saddened by Greg’s passing and send our deepest condolences to the Sharpe family.

Ryan Kalkbrenner is the Big East DPOY once again. Deterred so many shots at the rim, especially when switched onto Kam Jones. Meanwhile, MU’s Stevie Mitchell had one steal & played just 19 minutes. Mitchell took 14 shots for 10 points in that time.

Nebraska’s response on offense to an 11-0 run from Oregon that erases a 15-point deficit is to have Brice Williams dribble the ball up top for 20 of the 30 seconds of the shot clock before trying to go one on one.

The #OmaDome is thy protector.
It's been a rough winter to be a snow enthusiast in Omaha, Nebraska. The season to date total is only 1.0" of snow -- meaning if you're in Omaha, almost the entire country got more snow than you did so far this winter.
