Happy PSA 10/10 Day!
Without a doubt two of favorite cards in my collection — a blast from the past and bring me straight back to my childhood. I was fortunate enough to watch the Oakland A’s when I was a kid. My dad had one of those large satellite dishes in our yard that picked up local channels across the US. We loved watching baseball and then I discovered these two guys — the Bash Brothers! Jose Canseco quickly became my favorite baseball player and the reason I began collecting cards at the age of eleven.

Before Axl Rose was even Axl Rose. 🌹
Go back before Appetite for Destruction in our Fall Music Memorabilia Auction: bit.ly/3TL9h40
In 1982, a 19 or 20-year-old William Bailey/Rose wrote, signed and dated these original lyrics to “KILLER,” the same year he moved to Los Angeles and before adopting the name that would become rock history.
The handwritten sheet comes from a newly surfaced archive documenting Axl’s journey from Indiana to Hollywood Rose and eventually Guns N’ Roses.

1973 Wrestling Annuals with 28 of them being PSA gem mint 10 and the other eight are PSA 9s. I'm just missing the Dory Funk Jr from having all 36 in top pop. Andre The Giant PSA 10 is the key card in this set. @CardPurchaser

🏀JUST AUTHENTICATED🏀
1989 North Carolina Collegiate Collection Michael Jordan with PSA/DNA Certified Authentic Autograph. The autograph has also been authenticated by G.O.A.T. Authentics who are the leading experts in Michael Jordan autograph authentication.
I really appreciate cards with a story and this has a great one.
Dante was fortunate enough to not only meet the goat of goats but he was also lucky to get an autograph at the Olde Sycamore Golf Club in Charlotte, NC. It happened on September 21, 2010 while he was the executive chef at the golf club and the then Charlotte Bobcats were hosting a VIP golf tournament for their VIP season ticket holders. Dante shares his experience below and in the attached photo of his letter of provenance.
“Seth Bennett, the Vice President of Marketing for the Bobcats, came into the kitchen and asked if I wanted to meet Michael Jordan because he knew I was a huge fan. When I walked over, Michael Jordan noticed my Carolina Blue Air Jordan IV shoes and commented that he liked them. I thanked him, shook his hand, and asked if he would sign one of my cards. He replied, “Real quick.” As I flipped through the cards I had brought, I selected my Carolina’s Best Coca-Cola promotional card because I thought the autograph would display especially well on it.”

Collecting EARLY Type 1 photos have always been the way... the wrestling space is(will be) no different as it gives a glimpse of "The Man" before "The Gimmick".

What a great looking card!
1970s Gong Da Crusher Lisowski SGC 6 $200. Very high grade for this specific issue. The pride of Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Signed 82/83 Wrestling All-Stars are the best! I’m just in awe of some other collectors who have the super rare signatures! Love my little collection still!
1985 Wrestling All-Stars. Such an amazing set. This set deserves more recognition from the great wrestlers to the design of the cards to the condition sensitivity of this set. I will always prefer wrestling cards that are not in the ring action shots.

Getting messages asking if the sealed sets in Goldin of the Wrestling All Stars are mine. No connection at all. Just these. So many have been ripped the supply is getting smaller and smaller. Holding these sealed for investment.
82/83 Wrestling All-Stars. I am still in awe at how great this set looks. So many great cards and the beautiful color design. Here’s my complete set graded by SGC. In hindsight, I would have gone with PSA. But no regrets, these look so damn good in a black SGC tux!

For years everyone assumed the Rax Roast Beef cards were handed out at restaurants. It took many years but I solved the mystery and found the advertisements for the 1979 Thanksgiving Spectacular put on by Nick Gulas. The cards were handed out in complete sealed sets that night. To this day very few have surfaced and while the lineup isn’t the strongest the rarity is next level.

The 1982 Wrestling All Stars Hulk Hogan is without a doubt the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle of Wrestling Cards. I have chased, purchased and graded close to thirty over the last five years. Here are a few of my favorites with outstanding eye appeal that remain in my collection.

On Hulk Hogan celebration day I will give more 🙏 to another collector, @alanbarcoff . I was able to pry this unique Type 1 photo of @HulkHogan and AFA holding his poppy figure. Hulk is also wearing a WS Champions from 1981 (Dodgers) shirt and holding a robe of his upcoming Rocky III movie.
Lots of marketing going on in this photo.
Interesting bit of info... Vince Sr. was against the movie and Vern Gagne was against the figure. Both were such huge success'; led to his first championship vs Inoki on the world stage imo. The Hulkster marketed himself and made his brand impossible to ignore and control fully. @CardPurchaser

First there was 1, but now there is 2.
The 1990 Antoniadis Greek “The Punisher” wrestling card.
To find a second one helps confirms the existence of this card.
And as we all know The Punisher would become the Undertaker.
@undertaker do you know about this card?
