What is ACIF? The vital foundation for everything ad tech in TV. It’s “getting the small things right.” Maybe it’s small but it will carry everything that advertisers want in TV advertising. #IWantMyCTV @IABTechLab @Adidentify @NBCUniversal @xrextremereach

Welcome to advertising Elon!
Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Multiple advertisers have confirmed they are pausing spending while they see what direction Elon Musk takes with the platform. "The growing exodus of advertisers comes amid concerns Musk will scale back misinformation and security protections on the platform." theguardian.com/technology/202…

this is pretty amazing
Based on my many years experience, I’ve developed 24 laws of ad tech product management. These are “laws”, meaning they are always true, everywhere. Thread...

Post-impeachment, we can say this: Trump's presidency has amended the Constitution. Not formally, of course, but informally...which matters just as much. Here are the five Trump amendments. 1/9

To my former Republican colleagues: You want unity? 1. Condemn Wednesday’s insurrection. 2. Acknowledge that you’ve been lying about voter fraud and a “stolen” election. 3. Apologize for lying. 4. Stop attacking our democracy. 5. Congratulate Joe Biden. Then we can talk.

Conservatives are very upset about a private business refusing them service. In the spirit of unity, I baked them a cake.

A janitor making $4/hour walked into a Fortune 500 company boardroom. Shaking, he took a seat opposite the CEO. "So I had an idea..." he nervously began. Years later, that idea would become an iconic consumer brand and make him worth ~$20M. Here's how that meeting went 🧶👇

The battle to save our country is not Democrats vs Republicans. It is pro-democracy forces vs. pro-autocracy forces. It won’t go away on Jan. 20. It won’t be won easily and it will take a big tent to include all those who disagree on a bunch of things but agree on the big thing.

This is quite a takedown of the Trump campaign's list of allegedly illegal voters from Georgia State Rep Bee Nguyen.

Though Trump campaigned as the pro-business candidate, Biden won 70-29 measured by the productivity of the counties that supported him.

Showing red vs. blue maps leads people to see America as more divided—and judge people more by their state's stereotypes. Data: purple maps of state proportions are more accurate, and reduce perceived polarization and stereotypes. spssi.onlinelibrary.wiley.co… purplestatesofamerica.org

Elect Joe Biden so you can read books at night again rather than endlessly doomscrolling twitter.

Here’s a life hack I’ve just learned. If you hold down the space bar on your iPhone and slide to the left it moves the cursor. The amount of times I’ve had to rewrite words because I’ve gotten a letter wrong! Partly why there are so many mistakes in my tweets. Go on. Give it a go

The wisdom of the crowd works even if the crowd is completely drunk. This study got a bunch of undergrads intoxicated & found that while drunk individuals make a lot more errors, the consensus of groups of drunk people is as accurate as that of groups of sober people.
