“Well yeah we’ve just been battered by 10 men City and have lost half our games this season but did you know Tielemans cost £80m less than Elliott Anderson which is €105m when converted to euros”

Having to change the system to accommodate a 120M signing because of his glaring limitations. You truly can't make this up

the idea that the best we can think of to do with £200m-250m is EnzoF and Gakpo is so funny
Gakpo I believe is a good-very good player who will get you a great amount of output under the right conditions; he’s somewhat capable of playing across the entire forward line so it does make sense and as depth in a vacuum it’s an excellent signing.
But he’s also a frustrating watch, can be careless in possession, isn’t consistent at beating his man/being a 2 way threat and is often too predictable: cut in, shoot, blocked, is an extremely regular pattern.
My doubts are, will those conditions be created for him at City, and could City have done better for ≈ £85m, if not a bit more?
#ManCity are looking at solutions to help Gianluigi Donnarumma contribute on the ball and not ask for anything overly elaborate. One idea is to build up with three defenders rather than two, giving more security for possible mistakes and more options when passing. Donnarumma has been doing extra work at the end of sessions with Richard Wright and Michele De Bernardin, relentlessly clipping 30 or 40-yard balls to wide areas.
