i feel like i’m the most creative i’ve been in a very long time. i’m genuinely enjoying making things that feel good to me, pushing my sonic palette while still holding on to the foundation of what i grew up listening to. i really want to carve out my own space in alternative r&b/pop. i feel like there’s still so little black male representation in that space, and i’d love to be one of the voices helping push the genre forward. i want to make the music i want to make, experiment freely, and contribute something meaningful to the future of r&b.

small team. bigger vision. one of my favorite parts of making music is bringing the visuals story in my head to life. being independent means finding creative ways to make it happen, and honestly, that’s best part for me. more to come. #CH00SY out now. 🌐💙🎮 #altrnb

me explaining that CH00SY, though a catchy and palatable record in a melodic sense, is actually a song about people pleasing and how it can hinder the life and things you’re looking to seek. in this essay i will…
