Our mosques should not have to look like fortresses because of rising racism in Britain. More security funding deals with the symptoms of the problem not the root cause. We need to address rising Islamophobia and the relentless demonisation of Muslims in the media.

98% of boys born last year were NOT called Muhammad! 300,715 baby boys were born in England & Wales in 2025 - of these, 5957 or 2% were named Muhammad (& all alternate spellings eg Mohammed, Mahomed..hardly surprising when many Muslims use this name for their first son!)
🚨 NEW: The most popular baby names of 2025 have been revealed

“The UK Maternity System Is ROOTED In RACIST And Patriarchal Practice.” In Britain, a Black woman asserting her rights in childbirth isn’t called informed, it’s called suspicious, and the knock on the door proves it. Link: birthrights.org.uk/campaigns…

All nations in UK need an honest & open reckoning about racism - reactions like this are a reflection of societies with deeply embedded racism - until everyone understands why it’s only white criminals who get treated as individuals, this kind of racist violence will continue
Thinking of the Black people in Belfast who now have no homes to return to because racists have smashed their windows and set everything on fire simply because they are Black

It's wild that I have to do this, but @HeidiBachram clipped 57 seconds of this video to misrepresent me. I use a quote from a conversation with Kurt Vonnegut and Susan Sontag, in which she discusses human behaviour after studying the Holocaust. In that context, I talk about human behaviour and how we can build community in the lead-up to the next general election. In this video, I actually say that reform voters are not devils. Yet due to NOT watching the full video, @RobertJenrick is saying I am comparing reform voters to nazis. Truth matters, folks, even on X.

The Windrush scandal stripped mainly Black Brits of their citizenship. It was a gross injustice & a forewarning of the potential future for minorities in the UK. Real people like Tricia & Vaun suffered immensely as a result of racist immigration laws. They deserve justice.
