I don’t know about you guys but everyday I wake up, hit twitter, get inspired and then claude and i get to work I bookmark things, my Claude reads the marks and makes suggestions or builds the features on the products, and we go from there

Is the true mark of greatness quantity or quality? Everyone says quality but I would argue quantity. There’s just no way you can afford to keep releasing stuff if your stuff is ass. No one would consume it. And there’s no way you would keep making stuff if no one consumed it. It has to eventually be great, it just has to. So that’s my pov on why you should make slop cause eventually it’ll get great.

It’s not the game that’s bringing the $ in It’s the people who made it Making it is one thing, expanding it is a whole other thing that vibe coders know but never admit That’s why you only see demos
NOW YOU CAN BUILD A ROBLOX MAP WITHOUT A SINGLE LINE OF CODE AND THESE ARE THE SAME GAMES THAT BRING DEVELOPERS $65,700,000 A YEAR The developer in the video builds a farm in Roblox Studio with two AIs instead of a team: one writes the code and map mechanics, the second figures out which elements will resonate with the audience. The barrier to entry that kept Roblox earnings in the hands of a handful of studios for years just dropped Economy level: 0 lines → working purchases/luck/cycleEnd loop, Total Clouds: 0 at startup HUD interface: empty → MoneyDisplay.lua, WaterDisplay.lua, HudButton.lua built in one pass Server and publishing: draft → ready Server Size 6, publishing updates to the same link Map marketing: no plan → breakdown of retention and hooks in the first 60 seconds of gameplay, ready to launch Here’s what this is really about Before, to build a working map with an economy, HUD, and server logic, you either had to know Lua or hire someone who did. Now that same work is done by an AI copilot that keeps the entire project context at once - code, interface, balance. Meanwhile, the top 10 Roblox creators make an average of $65,700,000 a year each, it’s just that this level was unreachable for someone without a team and budget The crowd keeps putting off their map idea because they don’t know how to code. Now that’s no longer a reason to put it off Save this post The barrier to entry to the world’s most lucrative indie platform just became a prompt

You can copy the sauce but the recipe (aka liveops, vision, why the interactions feel the way they feel, ruthless simple design) is forever. Last mover advantage is a real thing by the way. I say shock drop and if you have copycats that’s a signal to go all in.
game dev is in such a weird spot right now. theoretically the only way to build an audience is by posting about your unique game, instead of shadow dropping it. but if you don't shadow drop it, there's a very good chance an AI bro will rapidly recreate and publish your idea

Bringing autonomy to the next fight: wildfires. Anduril has earned first place in the Autonomous Wildfire Response Track within the @xprize competition. Our solution manages the entire wildfire lifecycle with minimal human intervention. Lattice coordinates assets across air, land, and space to detect and respond faster. The award reflects Anduril's deep experience building firefighting tech including more than two years of dedicated work with XPRIZE. During the rigorous finals test in the Alaskan wilderness, our platform autonomously detected, fought, and suppressed live fires. Destructive wildfires are a global crisis. Anduril and XPRIZE are pioneering faster, more scalable and more automated ways to fight them.

One prominent theory says that long before our fish ancestors left the water, they did a lot of this, briefly scooting from pond to pond. Slowly, some evolved to be so good at scooting around on land and breathing air that they became fully amphibious.

+1 to this But don’t be boring and do enterprise B2B robotics hardware bullshit Try to do some novel consumer hardware, have fun with your life, don’t follow the crowd
I think we'll see 5x the number of people become hardware and robotics founders over the next 18 months Why? Because you can rent every step, from design to manufacturing: DESIGN - Astra to drive Blender, FreeCAD, and KiCad the way a person would, so you get editable geometry instead of a dead render. Zoo dot dev's text to CAD API if you want it programmatic. - Or have Claude write build123d code, which is Python parametric CAD, and there's a Claude Code plugin that runs it and exports the STL for you. PROTOTYPE - Bambu A1 mini is $299, P1S around $399 on sale. Or skip owning one, JLC3DP prints and mails it for about $20. PCBWay does resin, SLS, and CNC if plastic won't cut it. ELECTRONICS - KiCad for the board, Astra can drive it. JLCPCB fabricates and assembles, often under $100 for a small run. ESP32 for wifi, Raspberry Pi if it needs a brain. ANYTHING THAT MOVES - Unitree sells a Go2 with a full SDK for about $2,500. - Hugging Face put out a $399 open-source biped. - LeRobot gives you the whole train in sim, deploy to real pipeline, and Physical Intelligence open-sourced π0 so you're fine-tuning instead of starting from zero. - Prototype the policy in MuJoCo or Isaac Lab first. MANUFACTURING - Alibaba RFQ for the first 100 units. Check 1688 to see what the factory actually charges domestically, then negotiate. Pietra or Sourcify if you want someone to handle it. FULFILLMENT AND SELLING - ShipBob or Amazon FBA. Shopify for the store, TikTok Shop for distribution, Kickstarter if you want the money before you build it. How to think about starting your own robotics or hardware company: 1. Pick a niche that's already buying weird gear. Cyclists, tabletop gamers, beekeepers, home baristas, dog people with mobility issues. These groups spend money on specific objects and complain in public about what doesn't exist. Or grab ideas off Ideabrowser.com 2. Go read the complaints. Reddit, IG etc Search "I wish someone made," "does anyone make," and "modified my." That last one is the best signal, because someone already hacked the product together and you're just manufacturing what they built by hand. Also check Etsy!! If 3 sellers are doing a janky 3D printed version with 400 reviews each, the market is validated. 3. Make one. Describe it to Astra or Claude, get the CAD, print it in ugly gray PLA, use it, fix it. 4. Only go to Alibaba or similar once you've sold a few. Message 10 suppliers through RFQ, take the third cheapest, always pay the $50 for a sample before the real order. 5. Film everything from day 1. The first ugly print, the failed version, the box of 100 arriving. That's your entire marketing budget, and hardware is one of the few categories where people actually want to watch the thing get made. 6. Raise the price. Almost everyone here anchors on what the plastic cost. Your customer is comparing you to nothing, because the alternative is the product doesn't exist. Start at 5x COGS and go up. THIS GOAL OF THIS POST IS JUST HERE TO GET YOUR CREATIVE JUICES FLOWING. Of course, you can build robotics/hardware in a bunch of different ways. One thing I've learned is data couldn't be more important when you're building a hardware/robotics startups. These models learn from first person video of a human doing the task, and that footage doesn't exist for almost any job. So basically you pick one repetitive job people quit over, film someone doing it for 2 weeks, fine-tune π0 on that footage, use organic to sell the first few units and figure out scaling, 5 years ago you needed a factory, a supply chain, and a $1M just to find out if anyone wanted the thing. Now, anyone can become a hardware/robitics founder. And I suspect a lot of people will become one! Vibe manufacturers.

Fine, @Sora_Sakurai I will take on the mantle. But it brings me no joy
Sakurai said the Game Designer Award is being retired at the Japan Game Awards because he couldn't find anyone to replace him. It would take a Director capable of coordinating with other Directors like Hideki Kamiya, Fumito Ueda, Suda51 and others, but nobody could be found.

Playing Super Mario 64 for 30 minutes a day for two months physically grew the brains of the people who played it. A 2014 study in Molecular Psychiatry scanned participants before and after two months of daily play and found increases in grey matter in three regions involved in memory, planning, and fine motor control. The study was led by Simone Kuhn at the Max Planck Institute in Berlin. She gave 23 adults a Nintendo DS and told them to play Super Mario 64 for at least 30 minutes a day for two months. A control group played nothing. MRI scans taken before and after showed that the Mario group had measurable increases in grey matter in the right hippocampus, the right prefrontal cortex, and the cerebellum, and the increases were not found in the control group. The hippocampus is where the brain stores spatial maps. Super Mario 64 is a game built entirely around navigating three-dimensional space, jumping between platforms, remembering which doors lead where, and building a mental model of a world that does not exist. The brain treats a virtual world the same way it treats a real one: it maps it, stores it, and grows to accommodate it. The prefrontal cortex handles planning and strategy, which the game demands constantly. The cerebellum handles timing and coordination, which every jump requires. The brain was not just entertained. It was being trained, and the tissue responded the same way muscle responds to a weight: it got bigger. Kuhn said the results suggest that video game training could be used as a therapy for conditions where these brain regions are reduced, including post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, and age-related brain shrinkage. The prescription is a plumber in a red hat, 30 minutes a day. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2416…

Loop engineering works when it’s an objective result “increase X by Y%” But what if I have a subjective desire “make this shit look sick af like how my shit usually does”? How do you do that without having evals every 30 minutes?

Once everyone calms down this art style is gonna be beloved. It's so cool and unique. So much more interesting than just doing another remastered version of Ocarina of Times original graphics. It feels mystical like a fantasy story book and that's exactly how OOT should feel.
