After 25 years of the Ottawa marathon I thought I’d give the 1/2 mary a go….wet n’ windy at times but overall decent conditions. Tremendous crowd and volunteer support as always! First Ottawa race weekend in the 65-69AG, so I’m callin’ this one a PB 😜👏
Is this a parody account?? 😂😂
Like most Americans, I’ve enjoyed watching the Super Bowl. But the halftime shows began pushing moral boundaries and have become more and more sexualized. This year, they’re having Bad Bunny perform. The @NFL leadership is pushing this sexualized agenda. Thank you, @TPUSA and @MrsErikaKirk for providing an alternative—“The All-American Halftime Show” with the agenda of celebrating family, faith, and freedom! tpusa.com/live/tpusa-s-all-a…
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who braved the cold at the Richmond Road Race this morning! Great seeing so many familiar faces. Three layers of everything for the win! 😂🥶 #runfastorfreeze @runottawa @iRunNation
Good info here….and as a veteran of 38 marathons I can confirm that yelling “you’re almost there “, never ever works. 😂 @sweatscience
What you shout from the sidelines can make or break a runner’s race. Here’s what research says about the right (and wrong) ways to cheer. bit.ly/4qbkV3j
Ran a new charity 10km race this morn’ ….the “Race to End Homelessness”….Great seeing my friends @tm_kavanagh and @_MarkSutcliffe out this morning. Hoping this important event gains traction. 👏👍@OttawaAlliance @runottawa
Pounded out 65min on my 65th birthday today. Feeling very blessed with family, friends, and running health. Onward to a new race age category! 😂👏🙏 🎂
I was 14 years old and have been hooked ever since. Masterpiece of an album. 👏👏 #BornToRun50
Very hot night for the @runottawa Farm Run 5km 🥵🐄…..great seeing so many familiar faces….thank you to all the volunteers! 🙌

Marc was a superb Canadian and an honourable leader who excelled both here and way up there. He made us all proud. Stand easy.
June 4th is Global Running Day! Running has enriched my life in so many ways. Continued happy and healthy running to you all! 🙌 #GlobalRunningDay @runottawa
👏👏 🌈
Happy #PrideMonth! If you told me in the 90s I’d one day stand at Queen’s Park as a gay man & elected official during a Pride flag raising, I wouldn’t have believed you.
Hate has no place in Canada. Let’s celebrate how far we’ve come - and keep fighting for equity for all. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Ottawa Marathon #25 in a row is in the books. Very happy with my run today. Feeling very blessed to be able to pound these out every year. This string would be impossible without the support of my wonderful family, run club, and running friends! 🙌🎉 @OttawaRaceWknd @runottawa
🙏
I rarely post these as I know times are difficult for many.
My extended cousin, Constable Marc Lauzon was shot and critically injured in the line of duty in the Bourget shooting back in May 2023. Any little bit helps. Thank you. 🙏🏼

Last long run before the Ottawa Marathon is in the barn. Let the tapering begin 😂🙌🎉@runottawa @OttawaRaceWknd @iRunNation
Yes 💯
ESPN not showing @des_linden cross the finish her on final marathon is a disgrace.
Today’s broadcast has missed the mark every step of the way.

I still cherish my first Boston Medal. Good luck to all my friends running the Boston Marathon on Monday! Enjoy every second of it! 👏🙌 🦄
