PAC halving is now live on Pactus.
With PIP-55 active, the reward schedule has moved forward: Block #8,000,000 reached Block reward: 1.0 PAC → 0.5 PAC Next halving: Block #24,000,000
A new milestone for predictable PAC issuance. @PactusChain
From hashing and 51% attacks to seed phrases, phishing, 2FA, air-gapped wallets, and secp256k1 support, Pactus makes blockchain security easier to understand and safer to practice. @PactusChain

@PactusChain
Pactus is an open-source Layer-1 blockchain powered by Solid State Proof of Stake. It focuses on lightweight validators, BLS-based consensus, clear address roles, low barriers to participation, and a cleaner path to real decentralization.
@PactusChain
Pactus uses a dynamic committee instead of making every validator vote on every block. This helps keep consensus lighter while still giving validators outside the committee a path to participate over time.

A ten-thousand word monster post trying to cover the entire tech tree behind the main lineage of obfuscation (iO) protocols:

Special thanks to all who helped!
Pactus address prefixes make roles clearer:
pc1p = validator
pc1z = BLS account
pc1r = Ed25519 account
pc1y = secp256k1 account
Different keys, different use cases, one cleaner address system for the Pactus network.
@PactusChain
What I like about Pactus is its practical approach to decentralization. It is not just about big claims, but about making nodes lighter, participation easier, and the network more open to real users. @PactusChain
Pactus shows that decentralization is not only a technical idea. It is also about lowering barriers for real participants. That mindset makes the project worth watching closely.
@PactusChain
Pactus is interesting because it treats decentralization as something people can actually join, not just a word on a roadmap. Learn, delegate, validate, build, or simply explore the network. Every step adds value.

AI agents are about to start paying for things on their own.
No keys, no billing, no checkout, just one API call settled instantly.
That's what x402 unlocks, and Algorand is built to clear those payments at machine speed.
Build it with us in the Global x402 Challenge: $100K USD + 500K ALGO, open to developers anywhere.
Opens mid-July, register your interest now.

Pactus uses BLS signatures to make consensus more efficient. Many validators can sign independently, then their signatures can be aggregated into one compact proof. Less data, faster verification, stronger coordination.

PAC Quiz is very useful for anyone who wants to learn more about Pactus. I’m happy to get a good score in Round 1. Let’s keep learning and try our best to achieve even better results in the next rounds!
@PactusChain
Decentralization works best when more people can join.
That is what makes Pactus interesting: lightweight, accessible, and community-driven.
Run a validator or stake with active operators.
@PactusChain
Pactus stands out with a simple but important idea: make blockchain infrastructure lighter, greener, and easier for more people to join. Accessibility is part of decentralization.

@PactusChain
Pactus is not only about blocks and validators. It is about making blockchain participation more accessible, more efficient, and more sustainable for a wider community.
@PactusChain
A blockchain does not need to be heavy to be powerful. Pactus combines SSPoS, low-cost nodes, and validator participation to support a greener and more accessible Layer-1 network.
