In a multicenter RCT (n=584), intraoperative dobutamine + norepinephrine ⬇️ postoperative AKI in septic shock 🆚 norepinephrine alone (22.8% vs 34.7%). No ☠️ benefit; tachycardia was >frequent. Important implications for perioperative 🫘 protection.
